Are XB9 pistons 1200s?I read here the best is to use XB9 pistons and XB heads to get more power out of my 98 S1,is that right? They are easy to find and bolt on.I must do this when I have all the facts.. |

XB9 and XB12 pistons are both 3.5" bore. The XB9 piston is domed higher, and will give around a 12:1CR with XB heads in a non-XB. |

XL1200R "HEADS" are a "RETRO-FIT" to a TUBE FRAME as they have the same head combustion chamber, same size ports(ex/in which are better than THUNDERSTORM), valves-collars/keepers, and springs ... In BUELLing LaFayette |
