Just wondering what gas companies you all are buying gas from. The gas you buy from company to company varies a whole lot. I'd like to get a few from state to state. Also list your bikes. Just looking for a good gas in different states. Oh yeah, bad food methane does not count. I have a: Favorite pump gas: |

On my 06 Uly, I ran it on Sunoco 99% of the time. The only times I didn't was because the group i was with stopped elsewhere, or because there is only 1 gas station in Suches, GA. |

Chevron with Techron, unless I am far away from a station. Do some research on techron. It is the best for FI systems, from what I understand. |

Shell 94 or Sunoco 94. Neither contains Ethanol in any concentration. I don't know if there is any difference between U.S and Canadian gas. (Other than the higher price) (Message edited by newbuellertoo on February 20, 2008) |

I perfer Shell 93 or Sunoco 94, but more often than not I end up getting BP 93, since it's just up the street. Both in my M2 Cyclone and the Audi. |

Any one tried Cenex exp. me? BP is my choice but I think there are only two in Wichita. So far QT91 works best for my XB9R |

Living in near Milwaukee, I have to travel out of county to get non-reformulated ethanol free gas, and it is usually Kwik Trip premium, a top tier gas. Oh yeah, 2008 XB12Scg and KTM powered Polaris Outlaw ATV. |

I usually choose my stations based on the station cleanliness. I had a friend of mine who's family owned several gas stations. He mentioned that a station owner who takes care of the visible portions of the station, usually takes care of the tanks. As for my local station it is a 76. It is just far enough to properly warm up the bike. |

Sunoco Premium is my choice, BP is second. I never have had any issues with either. |

I've never had a bike that was all that fussy about where the gas came from, so anyplace that's open or has pay at the pump after hours and won't get me shot getting gas works fine, and if I'm about dry I'll even stop at the MuggerPumps if I have to. Carbs don't care too much as long as the gas isn't too chunky. Bikertrash05, Where are you finding the alternative gas? Allenton or Kewaskum or farther out? = = = = = oops, didn't answer correctly: I have a: '91 FLT, '95 S2, '00 M2 (all three carb'd, (wanna buy one of them???)) Favorite pump gas: any if the station appears well maintained, or at least not about to go under. (Message edited by mikej on February 20, 2008) |

The gas you buy from company to company varies a whole lot. Could you explain that to me. The refining process is the same, the octane has to meet a certain standard, all the gas has some kind of ethanol in it, whether it's MTBE or something else. I think the only variation is the additives that are added at the terminals to meet the specifications (recipe) of the fuel. Is that what you mean? I would only buy gas from a high gallon station (water content in the tanks tend to be lower). 1996 BMW R1200RT, Honda 420 quad. Run QT or Safeway most of the time. ARCO/BP (vested interest) and what ever is available on the road when I need it. |

I use BP/Amoco 93 in both my 2001 Blast and 2003 XB9R (and 87 in my 2002 Ram and 2008 Mazda3). Never had any complaints with it other than they tend to be a couple cents more expensive than everyone else. |

Ah, I was just up there around Waldo last Friday afternoon. I'll be wandering around northern Dodge county this Friday afternoon, I'll have to stop at a gas station and see what they have. |

It would be nice to see a diesel "adventure" bike from Buell, there are some back wooded areas where that extra economy would be nice. The highest octane I can get when every I have to fill up. Chevron 91 when I get the choice. |

I look for a station with different hoses for different grades, so I get all the high octane I pay for. Reepi I think that they have one flow meter for a pump so what ever was in the meter last goes in your gas, good Idea though with 3~4 gallon purchase.. } 93 bp, and 2001 x1 prm X-on |
