$4000 or offer. Modifications: Forcewinder intake, Vance & Hinds Carbon Fiber slip-on muffler, inner fender bobbed, under-tail license plate bracket, stock mirrors removed, small single handlebar mirror installed. The original battery has been replaced with an Interstate product of unknown age. None of the recalls have been done on this S-1.(808-signal flasher, 810-Front Isolator Mount, 811-Negative battery cable, 813-sidestand switch, 814-Fuel tank retention, 815-Fuel tank vent, 816-swingarm, 817-shock replacement) It is possible that they may be performed at the buyers discretion at one of the more Buell friendly and better informed Buell dealers. The tank decals have the typical bubbling. Tires are in fair condition, but may be aged to the point where replacement is indicated. The original parts that have been replaced may still be available (mirrors, muffler, airbox, etc.) The replacement battery is fastened down with bungee cords. There may be a kit available to modify the battery brackets and fasten the battery more conventionally. This S-1 appears to be in excellent physical condition with no outward signs of any gravity/inertia incidents. There are some cosmetic anomalies (cases and covers stained) that might respond to TLC. The photos below show water puddling under the bike following a bath, no oil leaks were visible. The motorcycle is located in Longmont, Colorada and can be easily inspected and viewed during regular business hours. Contact: Bill at 303-828-9052 Note: I have no financial interest in this motorcycle. This ad has been posted to help out a friend.

I think there was also a battery update kit that relocated the voltage reg to a vertical position, and allows use of a "normal" HD battery. I have this kit in my S1W, makes battery time much simpler Very nice bike, nearly as low miles as my S1W was when I bought it in 2006 (1100). Someone will definitely enjoy it! |

Do you still have the bike? If so, do you have any idea how much shipping would be to Church Hill, TN area code 37642. |

Hey! I might be lucky, but my parents were married when I was conceived (just barely; I was born ten months after their wedding). I've actually been in contact with the seller since the day after Don posted it. Bought sight unseen (except the pictures above), but I trust Don Casto's opinion, Bill (the former owner) seems like a great guy, and also, a friend of mine in Colorado HAS seen it many times and says it's in great shape. Can't wait to see it in the "flesh"! HellBuelly J "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get an S1." --The Rolling Burnouts |

Hey Jay, Instead of Tim picking it up, maybe I should fly in and ride it back for you. Just to make sure it's running right, of course. Denny} |
