Sorry if this is a repost, but today is the first day I've seen the ads for this year's Inside Pass days. October 12 is at the new track in Millville, NJ - New Jersey Motorsports Park. We're sponsoring that event (Liberty that is) and while it's still pretty far off, we're trying to get a ride together to head down there, maybe the night before? If you think you might be interested, please drop me a line at michelle@libertyharley.com or PM me (same diff) and hopefully we'll get a good group together. I think last year these tix sold out fast - and to be honest, I'm not sure exactly how to sign up, although I'm told we will have a limited number of tickets here for sale. Visit buell.com for more info! ->ChelleM |

Okay, I do a search on "Millville, NJ" and get two result - one is about as far north in the state as you can get, the other is pretty damn far south - not much further to Cape May. Which one is it? Bummer there's nothing close to me sooner - I wanted to get on a track a lot earlier in the season as it will be my first time. |

Hey, anyone up there know a good hotel to stay at? Someplace that can handle trucks with trailers since I'll have to trailer up and back.. I'd like to try and make this date as well as the one at VIR.. Looks like we'll run VIR South this time (as opposed to North last year).. |

Chellem... Thanks for posting this. I had been checking the Buell site for awhile and not seeing anything on Inside Pass. Glad I didn't miss it. When I registered this morning the gal told me I was her first registrant for the 10/12 Millville event. It's not even Spring yet, but October can't come soon enough! |

Blublak - None specifically. Roxboro has some places to stay, and is 18 miles from the track. |

Just took a novice slot at Mid Ohio. Sounds like the gear rules will be a little stricter this year... make sure jacket and pants really zip together. Ceejay? You going this year? |

Noticing again that the left coast in the nose bleed section missed out. Sumnabi@tch, who do we gotta bribe to get an event from corporate out in the Wet Soggy NW? |

I signed up for Vegas and Willow today. Kind of bummed out they are not doing Miller this year. |

Just signed up for WSIR myself. Anyone notice that you have to safety wire your oil filter, filler plugs, and drain plugs to ride in the A group for 2008? Also I am wondering how dicey the weather might be for Infineon in November. I would like to sign up, but I don't feel like getting wet. Any opinions from people in the area? |

I would SOOOOOOOO much like to do a track day!!!!! I have never done one, or even anything close. I am in Tampa, so Homestead is really my only option. All I have to ride is my FXDX. Is it nuts to try a track day on a bike like my FXDX? Should I just wait a year or two until I have something more suitable? Anyone here going to Homestead for the novice day? Maybe I could just go to watch and see what it is like. Dan |

Dyansport, if it is run like it was last year I wouldn't worry about not having a track worthy bike. As long as it doesn't rain there should be plenty of demo bikes to take around the track. At Willow Springs last year I could have ridden an 1125 in every session except for the very first one. |

Anyone from our area (that's central-northern NJ, New York Metro, and even northern PA, kinda) who wants to head down to Millville, we're trying to put together a little ride, possibly the night before, and have a little party-type thing that night. No details yet - it's not until October - but I'm just throwing this out there - anyone interested? We're heading down either way, would be cool to have a bunch of us. ->ChelleM |

Chellem.. I'd love too.. But then I'd need to get all the way up there first, then come back down to Millville, I may be up for the get together the night prior though as I'm sure a lot of us will be. Now, I just gotta get registered.. and find a place to stay .. and.. (damn track addiction).. |

Yes!!!! I'm in just signed up yesterday. Do they really make you have a full suit or zip together suite? I have been on track @ vegas and PA and my leather pants and jacket just fine for them then. If I have to get a zipper installed this time, anyone know a place in northern NJ to install zippers. They rent suites? JohnR |
