Sure would be fun to have a large group of Buellers from California for the big 25th anniversary Home Coming in 2008. Reg, would you be attending this year? Others going to attend? REX |

We're talking to a freight company about trucking the bikes to the area from So CA. Might have enough bikes to just "charter" one rig. Some of us don't have that kind of time to ride out and back. Stay tuned. |

Great idea you guys!!Lets put this together!!!!. If we line this up maybe we can put together a "Weekonsin"...a week together!... at the factory...races at RoadAmerica...a trackday and a looong ride somewhere twisty and steep!!!..Hey....maybe get FD&B and friends to ride up and close out some MicroBreweries!!These folks make INCREDIBLE BEER!....and pretty good cheese ....compared to OURS!! (I've learned the way to get the attention of Wisconsinians is mention the Cali-Wisconsin cheese competition.....seems rude California shows their cow commercials there too...it's just for FUN guys!!seen the one where the cow from there gets sent to Cali??) |

It will be interesting to see if CA outnumbers the Europeans. I'm pushing the Aussies, Belgium, Israel, Saudi, South African, UAE, French, Italian and Russian owners groups to be represented. You gotta meet some of these folks I deal with ! It's going to be a great time. |

Slaughter, Send me your plans on the semi truck thing and I'll send out a mail to the SCAB list. That would be a cool way to do it. Al |

I'll be talking to him at the races this weekend... he hadn't responded to email (not sure if I wrote it down properly) Stay tuned. I know I don't have time to do the whole freaking ride but a "private charter" of a truck/trailer would be way cool! |

Today if David Ortiz comes out to go racing, I'll ask him about a special deal for shipping palletized bikes to WI for the 25th. Many people are NOT racing today (report from NWS Weather Advisory):
quote:NORTHWEST TO NORTH WINDS WILL WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHEAST THIS MORNING. WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE GUSTY 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 55 MPH. AREAS OF BLOWING DUST AND SAND WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH VISIBILITIES DROPPING TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES. WINDS SHOULD BEGIN TO DIMINISH SOME THIS EVENING.
He may decide to stay home today. He was thinking seriously about making a truck/trailer available (for a fee, obviously) but that way we could ship both ways and fly out for the week. Details when they become available. http://www.ortizbros.com/ |
