Walking around IMS show in Chicago, I couldn't believe we found a jacket that fits my 6 year old SO WELL! It has elbow, shoulder armor, and a back pad. Now All I need to get him is the new Fulmer JR helmet so I can install the autocom headset in it that wont work in his current HJC youth helmet because of the lack of ear pockets. And for some odd reason he wants me to get him this!

"And for some odd reason he wants me to get him this! " Sheesh.... kids these days . I had a two stroke 250 when I was nine. I still think my step mother was trying to kill me... |

That's excellent! We had a hard time finding gear for Carlee when she started riding. Glad she's in adult sizes now. I'm with Bill, I'd love to know what brand the jacket is as my 6 year old is tiny and won't hit adult sizes for many years to come. |

Well, it's lucky my 6 year old is big for his age(he's always been off the scales for height and weight). The name of the MFG of the jacket says "nextgen" or "nexgen". A Google search didn't bring up anything helpful for youth stuff. It's too bad. It's *REALLY* hard to find armored clothing that fits the 'lil ones There is this place in the UK http://www.babybiker.com/ And this place is Australia http://www.kidbikers.com.au/ There used to be a place is the states called "family freedom motorcycling" that catered to kids armored motorcycle gear. But unfortunately they aren't around any longer. Another solution is to buy some of the "under-armor" stuff, and buy a cheap leather jacket off ebay... Like this stuff... http://www.ridegear.com/rg/item/F-56124/Oneal/Kids -Underdog-Body-Armor.html http://www.ridersmall.com/main/armr/K/Kids_Jacket_ A2JK.htm http://stores.ebay.com/vdiscount_Kids-Armors_W0QQc olZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ11461490QQftidZ2QQtZkm http://www.bikeremporium.com/Kids_Apparel-Kids_Bla ck_Orange_Duratex_Motorcycle_Jacket.html Sorry I couldn't be of more help. And the company we bought the jacket from said they've never seen these before and can't get any more. |

I've got a Nexgen jacket myself. It's not near as nice as some of the upper end ones, but for the $60 I paid for it it's got some nice features and has held up well for the 1 season I had it already. Cool find no matter what though! |
