Yeah! 56 in a 40. The Police Officer hands me the ticket and tells me I have 30 days to contact the Court. I received this Award on 1/23, I go today to pay the ticket and was told the total was $257.00. I started thinking dagone that is high. I thought I saw a Public Fine Schedule somewhere before. I decided to asked the clerk if they had a Public Fine Schedule and I was promptly told "No". Hmmm, did they just pull this number out of the air, isn't there a place to see this type of information. I managed to see my file when they were pulling up the information and it read as follows..... Fine $160 1/23 - 2/1 Fine +$97 2/2 - 2/13 Fine +$97 2/14 - Interesting, I was never told by the PoPo that there was a graduated fine schedule. How Nice..... This happened in Coppell, TX (a DFW city) (Message edited by slowride on February 12, 2008) (Message edited by slowride on February 12, 2008) |

Yankee, You got the being a dick part down, LoL. Just joking It was a typo, it should read 1/23. I added some more detail to the above post. I surely didn't type what I was thinking. (Message edited by slowride on February 12, 2008) |

Hahaha! Yeah, I have been told the handle is a paradox as it relates to me. I have posted more speed related stories on the different boards that I belong to than I care to admit, but I do Pay to Play! Oh well! |
