www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/249.html has the kit and comes to almost 1200.00 and you supply the headlights.

only problem with that kit is the XBR fairing. I allready have an XB12R which make me want nothing to do with that kit. Im rather fond of the 1125R fairing. I like the full headlights. Not to mention the wind blocking abilities. Though maybe you can still utilize the 1125R fairing with some minor modifications.... Hmm. That would be a pretty expensive experiment to try and make work.

I do not like it but posted it for others that were debating if it was real or not, now everyone will know it is real and is available.

I would love to see this bike in person first, but it looks good in the photos. And I'm very tempted to get a 1125R now.

England was smart enough to not adopt the Euro which would have paralyzed their domestic monetary policy and put their economy at the whim of the EU. They still run Pounds rather than Euros.

The fairing looks good, but not for me. I just can't see giving up the excellent 1125R wind protection and lighting to get a full fairing.

I just sent a message to Trojan asking if the 1125R front fairing is compatible and it not why...
Hope to find out soon...
If it is not I think it has something to do with the scoop covers, perhaps they are too wide...
But then some trimming should fix that...

this looks good, but I agree. the current top fairing on the bike is what I like. I love the look. the full fairing does look good though. REX

The full fairing is a complete two piece fairing (upper & lower) with the split being down below the level of the original scoops, so you couldn't just swap the top part for the 1125R item I'm afraid.

Over here most of the complaints about the look of the 1125R have been directed at the stock fairing, which is one of the reasons why Volker developed this fairing to look different.

I suppose if you wanted to cut the top portion of the fairing off and mould in a stock 1125R fairing you could do so, but it would rather defeat the object I think.

I have heard that there will be another full fairing kit soon that is pretty much an XBRR replica but with the facility for the 1125R headlights. I don't have any details at present but of course will post them if and when I find out : )

It will be interesting to see. I think this first fairing does a fantastic job of tying the thinner tail into the bike.

If you use the 1125R 'head' the fairing 'may' exaggerate the larger width of the front. On both configurations I'm sure it cleans up things and unifies the look but I do like this first fairing very much.

I really like the lower section.
I'm completely accustomed to the pods now, XBs look weird.

I'd be very tempted if a lower kit for use with the stock fairing was available (pod cover and belly pan).
Especially if I can mod the stock exhaust for a single, larger outlet pipe.

Thank you Matt.

At this point the XBr fairing not only looks strange but also I feel naked behind it...

so which is it? $1200 or $1500?

i also wonder how much something like that would cost to ship to the U.S.

At current exchange rates (1 GBP = 1.94890 USD) the price is around US$1592 less 7.5% discount making it US$1472.

Shipping to the USA would be GBP80 by corier service, or around US$155.

man, i like it but i just dont think thats in the cards at the moment.

it would take way to big of a chunk out of the money i need to put towards the bike its self.

I like it too, but now were getting close to Ducati price territory for the bike and the fairing combined. I think I will hope/wish for a factory fairing version in 2009?

I do not know why anyone would want the full Fairing the Buell is designed to be like a full fairing like it is.

Not according to everyone that I have spoken to it isn't ;)

Maybe it is a Continental thing. Most European prospective 1125R owners I have spoken to say that the one thing that puts them off buying one is the stock fairing. Those that I have asked have all preferred this new full fairing over the stock item, despite weaker lights and less wind coverage for the rider.

I've said it before, but here goes again. Most motorcycle buyers eventually buy the bike that they like the looks of rather than for any minor performance benefit over the opposition, especially these days when pretty much any sports bike of 600cc and above will crack 170mph easily. A lot of people want a bike that looks good at their local bike meet rather than one that may offer more rider comfort or less wind resistance. You only have to look at the current craze for slammed and stretched superbikes to see that. Or does a 12 foot 280bhp turbo Hayabusa have a purpose in life other than to look good?

At the end of the day the replacement fairing and other parts are there for people that want them because they like the looks, for those that don't there is always the brown paper bag ;)

Just for the record Matt I much prefer the looks of the 1125R Fairing over the Firebolt fairing.

There, now not "everyone" you have spoken to prefers the looks of the Firebolt fairing.

+1 Spectrum. The pictures don't do the 1125 justice. In person the whole thing looks great.

For me, the XB-R fairing fits the narrow Firebolt nicely. When you put it on the 1125R, which is visually wide in the hips with the radiator pods, it starts to look like a pregnant whale with a really small head.

I looked at the 1125 in person and liked it much more than in pictures, However, I decided that I wouldn't buy one until they did a fully faired model. That kit just doesn't do the bike justice, IMO.
