From Ahoskie, eh? That's one hell of a ride. Sounds like a hell of a bike too. You know I'm down for the open house. I'll even try to scrounge up some change to pick up some buell gear. I know that the bikes are selling, but I have a sneaking suspicion that we could lose our buell hookup at any time. It's best that we support the buell cause any time we can. BUELLERS UNITE!!! "I'm sure that David is going to want to put his butt on that monster too." I'll bet he already has one and has been too busy riding it to tell us! |

I imagine we'll be there long enough just getting though the demo rides. If you get out by 10:45 you will be there around 11:15 grab some grub kick the tires and light the fires. probably 2:00 or so before we all got a ride. just a guess but I do know it takes some time to fill out the waivers. |

Mike, Got any trusted rice peddlers down that way? Thinking about a new dual sport, and Casey aint the place for me. Burchams in Petersburg seems cool. Got the Buell inspected there last year. |

Tank I bought my Duc from Rob Elderidge at Cycle World, he was cool with me. GIve him a shout or we can drop by after the open house. It's right around the corner from SSHD. If you like him and are going to buy drop my name cause it will get me a cycle world gift certificate. If Rob doesn't work try Don Battenfield at Sunrise and tell him Steve and Mike from Sunrise parts sent you. |

Yeah Tank... I'll be there. Kev... You rolling in the big red truck? Oh hey don't forget, Phil can't ride over, but he might be interested in the after party. Would that be a good for you Phil? I however, have to make good on a promise to my dad after last Saturday's hit and run with Kev. |

I have to say this...not singling out anyone. The 1125 is NOT for the faint of heart. It is a Beast, that will rip your heart out, and replace it with an Evil transplant. It is not "docile" at parking lot speed, and it is not ready to quit when you are. It is up to the rider to provide "ultimate responsibility" while riding The Beast. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED I rode it at VIR, and it scared me. |

Good seeing all those that came out today! Mel- Keep the pops happy... I'm gonna need a new tire soon ;) Kev- Hows the Momma? It's a shame you missed out on the demo ride. Mike- Take it easy, and soak those muscles. I'll let you tell the tale. For those that couldn't/didn't make it. You missed out! What a day! Not only was it perfect for riding, but free food and an amazing demo! If I ever feel the need for a track bike, I know what to get now. |

Hey All, sorry I missed you guys. I ended up getting out of work late...jetted out of Langley at around 3:45 to get there by 4-ish...the new Chevy SS (bike hauler...hehehehe) made it down there quick, but I guess not quick enough to catch up with you all. If anyone is interested in riding today (Sunday afternoon), let me know. I'll check back here at around 10am. I did get Duck to check up on any ECM issues for the '08 City-X while I was down there...will be making some exhaust upgrades this summer. |

Appreciate you guys showing up. It didn't go unnoticed by my boss. He pulled me aside several times to comment on the number of 1125 demos as well as all of the Buellers milling around. I'm trying my best to make this a better dealership for all of us and all of you showing up was more ammo for me to fight the good fight. Thanks again. |

Proud to Help!!! I wouldn't even mind starting some of our rides at SSHD to get more visibility to the boss. Hopefully if some of the other Buellers we met Saturday post up on BadWeB. Great Bike! Can't wait to see what happens with the next revision. |

Duck - Like Mel said. We are more than happy to show up. Especially when there is food and crazy nice demos Mel - Thats a great idea! I don't know why we didn't think of that before. I think that it's going to be a few weeks before I'm going out on a ride again, but I'm down for it! Brett |

Yeah that was a nice time. Christy didn't feel well so we had to leave early. Hopefully Bucky will let me demo the 1125 later. I installed that polished pulley and wow it looks great. Kevin |

O.K. since Brett let the cat out of the bag. Saturday afternoon ride had one un expected pit stop on Ballahak road. It happened at te last tight left hander in a series of Esses when a car and I got to the apex at the same time from opposite directions. I took my eye off of my line long enough to make sure I as clear off the car and when I looked back I was about 2 feet from the ditch. Only cosmetic damage to the bike and a few sore muscles for me. the worst part is the paint got a pretty good set of scratches on the tank. If you are going to go down this one may be the way, not that I recommend anyone go down. We still managed to complete the ride as originally planned (Message edited by S1wmike on February 12, 2008) |

Got this in an email this morning, looks like our favorite road is compromised! Message from NNSY's Public Affairs Office Route 17 is closed at Ballahack Road due to smoke from recent fires. Traffic will be diverted to Ballahack Road, and then to Route 168, until the smoke clears. Motorists should be alert to slow traffic and cautious to current driving conditions.
