We are having fun here in Milwaukee!! Well over a foot of snow on the ground with more on the way! Pretty much everything is closed and we all went sledding today. |

Although it was t-shirt and shorts weather here, I have to say that I miss the snow. But as I look out the window at the shining sun, my bike and clear roads...I dont miss it so much! Hang on ya'll. Spring will be here soon. |

We had a warm day here...hit the 80's. It's currently 75 right now! What I miss right now is having a ragtop. At least if it does snow here, we have a great sledding hill in our yard. |

We got the edge of the storm you're getting now. Only 4-6" but it was enough to close schools and give the snow blower a good workout! |

I am working in Iron Mtn., MI today, clear blue skies, and 27 degrees, no precipitation. Six hours to the south of me there is 12" of snow, and the world is coming to an end! |

I guess I picked a great day to fly to Vegas. We leave tomorrow morning, but I have a feeling we're gonna get a wee bit delayed. As of 8:30pm Mitchell Field is cloooosed. |

I just got done snowblowing for the third time today and once last night. I've had enough. It's blowing 40mph winds and its a heavy wet snow. The blower in some area's of my driveway are very wet at the base of the snow. Therefore its plugging up my machine..... makes for being a biatch. |

We've had 62 inches of snow in Denver so far this season, which beats our average yearly total, and we haven't even hit March, typically our snowiest month. Bring on Global Warming, I want more riding time. |

It has now stopped snowing. One of my dog's Raleigh just loves this stuff. And then another of that same pine tree but now you can see.

We got 3-4 inches of bone dry powder in coastal Maine this morning. Dead calm air, the perfect weather for flying my electric R/C airplane. About mid afternoon I'll go out and get this all cleaned up:

I'm curious... when you blow snow, do you swallow afterwards? |

Just got back from Breck. It was powder. Great conditions for boarding. I'm glad to be back in 80 degree Florida though! Funny that I find myself on this post. As we are ascending up the mounting to our house, I see this bright green thing with a mountain of snow on it. Turns out to be somebody's Kawa ZX6r. No cover, nothing. I felt bad for the bike. That thing was certainly going to need some work. Driving back to Denver was sketchy, especially being a first to driver in snowy/frozen roads. I'm just cruising, 2 hands on the wheel. Sweaty palms and everything and the Ice Road truckers are just blowing by me around sharp bends through the pass. That part of I-70 would be fun on a dry WARM day. |

Wow, about 15" for me, just north of Milwaukee. And when you factor in blowing and drifting, it gets deep in spots. 24 hours of non-stop snowing. And yes, I took a snow day. |

Suppose to be near 60 in Denver this weekend. The mountains are getting nailed this year, better them than us. Hope to get the bikes out. Yes spring is just around the corner |

3 inches of snow by the time I got home last nite. I rode in. The MT-60s hook up nicely in the white stuff. You should have seen the looks from the S.U.V.s that were in the ditch and I puttered right by them. Glazed ice this morning though. bike is at home |

ATV plowing is usually fun, but not with this much snow. And yes, the car was hiding in the garage during the storm.

I've got a Suzuki Vinson 500 4WD ATV and a 26" snow blower. The walls of waist to chest high, rained on, frozen, and won't be moved until it melts snow is closing in on the back of the house and the sides of the driveway. The last two storms I used the snow thrower to throw the new snow up on top of the old snow so I don't run out of room before I run out of winter. And that will be the drill for the rest of the winter. We're looking for another foot or so over the weekend. Compliments of the "Canadian Express" weather that comes out of the northwest and makes Caribou, Maine America's perennial favorite for the nation's lowest temperature. Weather. Talk, talk, talk. But no one ever does anything about it! Jack |
