Geesh! I almost missed it!
Thanks my good friends and cohorts, especially you Jerry (FB), and also Court and FireMan Jim, and JB-II for the thoughtful words and kind well-wishes.
Seems like not much longer ago than last month that we all first converged on Motorcycle.com's feedback forum and kicked off the email list that soon, thanks to Jerry, became BadWeB.
Hope to see everyone at what will be my first ever Buell Homecoming this year. Zac has no idea what he's in for. Jim, I'm sure we'll have room on the floor. 
Here's a toast to another great ten years, more good friends and lots of miles and smiles riding to lean (my favorite FBism).
Thanks to everyone who puts up with my unique personality and helps make/keep BadWeB such a wonderful place. |

tho's it's tempting to start with the very first demo ride at H-D/Buell of Santa Cruz, the simple truth is this - the irrestible combination of American SportBike Nite & BadWeb seduced me away from Triumph's Speed Triple and onto my well-loved Modesto Buell M2
these days, BadWeb enables me to maintain & improve "El Loco Moto" while monitoring Joesbuell's faraway bitza progress & the 1125R's heavily-scrutinized rollout
every thread of interest here means a great deal to me - BadWeb's the best !!

Amazing. How something so simple as emails between a handful of people can result in a web site that reaches people around the world daily. Not such an easy task and surely as much work now to maintain. Thank you Blake. Have made a lot of friends here thanks to Court for sending me here in the first place.  So not sure who to thank the most for introducing me to my best friend. We've been on an adventure ever since and landing on the Blue Ridge Parkway would be just the beginning of a new chapter - pretty cool to be able to share all our worlds. Thanks again Blake! I too can say that the Buells I've owned(and I still have my very FIRST one...old yeller)and this site has changed the direction of both my interests and my life in general!The very good friends I've been lucky enough to meet and the myriad of events I've attended because of this Brand have altered the direction of my life.Having friends like Mark M. whom bought his M2 back in '97 and let me ride the Sporty (behind) him and Jerry J. who took me on some early...really spirited.... rides on Palomar....and then hanging with Tat and then Al of American Sport Bike have made their mark!Who knows where and what I would be riding today if it wasn't for Erik's creations.And then the long list of folks whom have added to this dementia!...As in Court and Ferris and FMJ and Don and Sparky and the list could go on for an HOUR!All this has been helped along by this site...THE BADWEB....Who'da thunk????..And we all have BLAKE to thank...for keeping this together and making it a site to be proud of.Above all,Thanks to all whom have contributed to its preponderance!..Blake...YOUR the

Ever since I sold my Harley and got that Red Snap 96 S1 Lightning with polished PM wheels, finding this website with its vast knowledge base and all the fine people linked to it has been a major factor in upping the quality of my life... on a daily basis! |

Congratulations to Blake, and everyone else who has made Badweb the great site that it is.
To me, Badweb is really such an integral part of the Buell experience, it is impossible to imaging one without the other.
I have learned so much about my bike, hopefully was able to be of some service to my brothers, and have made many friends on this site.
I look forward to seeing many of you at MBV and Homecoming. |

BadWeB has taken up an awful lot of my time these past few years, but the friends and memories gained have been worth it.
I doubt at some time in the recent past I'd have kept my Buell, had it not been for BadWeB. That I did, I am grateful to BadWeB for.
All the best Blake. And credit to you mate. Can I just say, I'd have banned several here forever, lol. Including  myself. But then the place wouldn't be half as good as it is!!!!

So not sure who to thank the most for introducing me to my best friend.
Sweetie: i've had very good luck over the years blaming things on Court - i'm betting he'll gladly take credit for this one.
it's almost hard to remember when there wasn't a BadWeB.
props to Blake for not only the idea, but the sticktuitiveness for seeing it thru to live birth, and then having the monumental patience to successfully nurture this place to it's tenth birthday.
props to the custodians, present and past, who volunteer their time to help maintain a certain level of decorum here on the board.
you (or i) may not always agree with their slant, but it's pretty cool that for the most part you can surf this place with your kids (or employer) looking over your shoulder without fear of blowing out their eyeballs.
BIG thanks are due for Erik Buell.
yeah, he (and the Elves) make the machines, but he's also a good human and true enthusiast, and i'm unaware of any other marque-focused site that can claim the level of factory "attention" that BadWeB enjoys.
Court's been at this longer than i, but there was a time that i personally knew every Buell owner on the west coast, and most of the others around the country, too, a time when sending a Buell-related e-mail to a dozen or so other enthusiasts was considered getting The Word out.
BadWeB rocks because of the motorcycle, because of the people, and because of the passion we share.
