Just installed a Fehling luggage rack from Twisted Throttle, http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/3 745/474/. Construction and finish is excellent. I plan to install a Givi top case on it when it arrives (supposed to ship in a couple of weeks). I think I will fab some kind of bracing to the rear footpeg brackets due to some of the commentary on this forum regarding potential issues with the rear section as I don't plan to have any side cases, hence no additional support from their mounting brackets. Any comments? |

I'd like to hear something too. I'd like to only have a top case too, no side bags. |

I have had only the top case on my Uly for more than 8K miles with no problem. I believe the problem people have spoken of are just speculation. |

Do you have a top case rack like the one on the URL, where it only attaches to the back of the bike? This one doesn't have extra bracing because it doesn't attach to side racks/back of rear footpegs. (Acutally, I don't know how the Buell version attaches with the top and side racks). I mean, the rack and the back of the bike are metal and it's not like I'm going to try putting 50# of stuff in it. But, then again, you never know what you'll try carrying inside. |

I have the stock Buell top case and rack. It does not tie in with the side case racks when mounted by itself. |

Sounds good to me. Thank you for the clarification. |
