I like that paint job Jaydub. Looks real nice. Are you going to put Buell logos back on it? |

Prairie2010 - I can't decide if i should go with the Buell - American Motorcycles decals, or the newer raised BUELL ones... |

They are the stock Diablo T's with whitewalls painted on using a tire paint made for antique cars from a guy in Iceland. |

How will the paint hold up? Looks very cool in my opinion...Wonder how it would look on my bike! |

Well, there's four coats. It's really thick and stays rubbery so it flexes with the tire. The tires were mounted mechanically after painting and it held up to all that rubbing and scraping, so it should be good with everything you would typically meet on the road up to scraping a curb or something really abrasive. It would probably look pretty good on that white S3, Jodie. Here's the website: http://www.mbzponton.org/valueadded/other/tirepain t.htm |

dupont is my choice. this is just my cheap test paint as i have been working on a color that stands out. it is acrylic with out hardner. so it comes off easy with thinner just wipes right.i'll clean it off and put the real stuff on next weekend. same look same color but the durable paint fuel and cleaner safe. if you are testing colors use cheap enamale it also wipes up with thinner easly. this letss you test colors on the bike. i have two sets of plastics also one to paint one to prep while the other is on the bike .this way the bike is never down due to plastics being painted. |

I have the Battle blue plastics now and I have been thinking about the flat black. I did the exhaust in BBQ black. I just don't know anymore I took it out of the garage for a few minutes today and I seen the bike in the sun again and now it's hard to decide. decisions decisions |
