I'm going to get a tank bag and was going for the Buell bag until I saw this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=260189824782&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPage Name=VIP:Watchlink:middle:us It looks like the map section sits more level and not to bulky. Seems like a good $ too. Any thought are appreciated. |

I looked at those too, but in the end got a Wolfman Eplorer Lite - have not used it yet but it sits nice on the bike http://www.wolfmanluggage.com/Tank/ExplorerLite.ht ml |

I wonder where they are mounting the front straps. I called RKA today as that's the tankbag I have and they use the front screws that hold the plastic cover on. He said use a soldering gun to burn a hole in the mesh of the strap and use to plastic washers. Here is a pick of a XB12R. http://www.rka-luggage.com/A14%20Photo%20Gallery/0 2bue/pics/Jose_50SB_85TB_8STARR_2_bi.jpg |

Msparks, I just looped my front connectors around the front of the frame. I made sure I had no interference with handlebar sweep, and didn't cover any cables or wires. I have the Marsee, that is almost identical to the one in the first post. Works fine. |
