Jeremiah, That's awesome!!! I have a question that probably should have been addressed earlier. Won't everyone need a state park sticker for the campground? If so, we may want to look into an independent campground in the area. By the way, checked out your profile...SWEET looking S3 |

Now that you mention that Dennis, I think you're right. The guy might have mentioned that we have to have the park stickers. I've already paid for the sites, but if enough people object to paying for the stickers, then I can cancell. This is definitely something that we have to address at the June meeting. |

Mike, you looked so damn smooth on the course today. Great times also. Looks like you are simply taking a leisurely ride down by the lake. Very nice riding. |

Thanks, I'd have liked to knock a couple of seconds off my times, but I was starting to slip across the chalk lines as it was. Looks like the other guys got their parts okay. I'm glad that Rick was able to catch the parts guy before he closed the store for them. See you in West Bend. Sure hope they don't have a tar snake special layed out. I'll try to wander up there this week sometime. There's a car dealership on one side of them, and I don't remember what's on the west side of their shop up there. |

Mike . . .. . the parts did SHOW UP, AND early, too! the guys at Hal's were great (shoulda seen the fire shoot out of the eyes of one guys, though, when an un-named Buell person said "for that much money, they should install them too!) word is that the SE Wisconsin Buell dealers that are putting on this years BTRAX series are talkin to NE Illinois dealers to hold a massive series next year! that would be soooo kewl! any early reports on west Bend's lot would be most appreciated . . .I'll wear extra padding if it's like Pilgrim Road |

There isn't enough chrome around for those guysDon't mind me sounding bitter, I bought my bike there. When I had them install a new rear skin last spring, they forgot to tight the bolts!!!!!! Enough ranting, I need to get a quick ride in while the weather is cooperating |

Hey MikeJ, Thanks again for dropping of the swingarm lift last night. Got a call last night that my tires are in. I just ordered them Wednesday morning and they came in on Thursday, not bad at all. Who says that internet is the fastest. Now I just have to take the tires off. I was thinking that I could use the jackstand under the front axel again, and use some rope under the handle bars and over the garage rafters to help keep it centered. I'm off to Chicago in the rain tonight, to completely finish off my rear tire.(There aren't many twisties where I'm going. You kind of have to make them yourself.) I can't believe that I squared it off that badly. Gotta stay on top of that air pressure better. Have a nice weekend all Jerry |

Hey I'm kinda new to all this, I've actually gone on one ride with the group last year but I keep missing out because I'm too busy too keep tabs. After talking to rick I decided to the create the yahoo group BrewCity Brag. Most of you probably know about it but for those who don't you can click here the real nice feature is the handy dandy calendar that Rick Will get around to filling out if no one beats him to it. |

All rides usually leave Hal's at 10am Sundays. Is this the multi-club ride Sunday? If I don't go north I'll try to make it. Otherwise I'll be up north collecting ticks again. |

Thanks for checking Mike. Nothing so far, just some soreness, general aches and pains, and 1 really good bruise. Good thing I have a wife who is a nurse. Other than that, it's all mental.(which can be worse sometimes) Ordered a new shifter arm and a rear subframe. The toe shifter does not come seperately unfortunately(huh) and the bolt that I have in there now would probably rip up my boot eventually. I decided that I'd wait on the headlight bezel and windscreen bracket since they aren't critical. Hopefully I'll have it back together by next week. I'm doing the rear tire on Friday and probably the front sometime this weekend. I have to get some jackstands for the front axle first. I needed a trip to the hardware/automotive store anyway. Does anybody have any objections to my brother joining us to Wildcat Mountain? Jerry |

Someone here had replaced their shifter toe peg with a longer screw from the backside, then put a stack of nuts on the boot side. Either that or a stack of washers and a couple of nuts to lock them on with. I've got the original shifter arm off my M2 that I can see if the boot peg will unscrew if you want. I've got a couple of jackstands and still have the engine hoist if you have a way to haul them. I'm down to just the bike, van is dead and the car is brakeless (not good when a front brake locks up, then a block after getting it unlocked you hear/see the worn out disc pad pop out and fall on the roadway behind you. I'll be around tonight, or can maybe strap on the jackstands to the bike tomorrow. Hmmm, could probably fit them into the Ventura bag and head down, want to stop at Hal's and check on the B2Win magazine anyway. Ping me here if you want to work on any of the above. The engine hoist is 15 minutes deep into the storage unit, but fairly accessable. ps, know anybody who wants a van? Engine was running with 140,000 miles on it, minor stack fire spread to the firewall with starter fluid so some wires are burned. Tranny is good and new front tires. $100 to cover the cost of the tires. Just in case anyone interested is reading this. |
