The previous owner had the tank repainted. (I am assuming it's due to the dreaded "Bubbling" on the older bikes). As a consequence the tank is now bare. The BUELL on the fairing and S3 Thunderbolt decal on the tail are silver. What is the best replacement part to order? Can you just apply the old style decals directly to the tank without covering with clear coat, or is there a better solution? Part numbers would be really helpful if anyone has them. How about aftermarket, has anyone used anything different for a logo on the tank? Thanks for the help and any suggestions. Note: This is mainly for the benefit of other bikers so that they will be able to clearly identify which kind of bike just blew by them. |

Every decal Buell has ever made is available through your dealer. You can give them the year and model and they can look it up. If you have any problem, send me an e-mail. I have a catalog showing all the Buell graphics and can get you the info. |

Thanks Court, I will give the dealer a call to see if he can walk me through my options. |
