I plan on arriving on Thursday around 5-6pm and unload the truck and set up camp. It should take me a whole 30 min., So I will be up for a dinner ride shortly after that. Is that about right? Or will there be an early dinner run to avoid the night run back. Note to self ride behind the HID and Deathray crowd to ensure safe passage back home with zero sunburn issues. | ||

I will not deny how hard it was trying to find the Boiler Room... I'm used to bars being outside of business buildings, not inside them  Just a change of environment'sall! Either way its an awesome bar and you'll see me watching for other Buell riders that can't find it this year as well. I'll be sure to look for any extra Buell frisbees we might have in the store yet. My gf is deciding she wants to come now as well so hopefully I can make enough room for the both of us on the Uly. | ||

Thanks Wolf, I am looking at the drive time and working the schedule to ensure I am there early enough to make a dinner run with the crowd. It would suck for a nugget to MB like me to show up at 6-7pm and everyone has left already for a dinner run. I can see it now, by the time I negotiated the roads to an eat in, the crowd would be on their way back. No fun running unknown roads at night. Hmmmm.... maybe I should do the HID or Deathray mod. | ||

We went to Dahlonega last year. Can't remember what time it was, but it wasn't dark yet. We stopped for some gas on our way back and by that time ya needed the headlights. I don't think there was much planning involved but I'm sure there will be someone to ride with. | ||

This is like watching a tropical depression out past the Carribean coming in, with a feeling that this'ns gonna be a BIG one. No doubt! I remember last year being very aggravated that I was riding down after dark on some GREAT, as yet undiscovered roads, whilst at the same time being very grateful to follow some UFO ahead that was lighting the way ;) DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT look at phat's headlights without your piece of cardboard & pinhole. Gonna be a great time, y'all... |
