OK, two questions. Is it too late to get in on this? I haven't made reservations and don't even know for sure that I can make it, but I am pretty tempted to try. I'm just wondering if everything is all booked up. Everything with walls and a roof I mean. No tent for me. Second, how welcome is a guy on a Harley anyway? I am a good 18 months from the finances for another bike and I just can't sell my FXDX. And, while I am pretty good on my FXDX, it is still a cruiser at heart and I won't be doing 130. So, what do you guys think? Should I try to work things out. I'll have to ride up from Tampa, no short ride, and I'll have to head right back. I would love to meet you guys and I love the area. Cheers, Dan |

It's never too late, till it's over. (And then there's always next year) Hotel rooms are a-plenty in Dalonega. Everyone is very welcome! Get there! You'll love it! The event is awesome. |

MB is the slackers paradise. You can decide to come 15 minutes after 5:00 on Friday and not miss much. You don't have to have reservations. There aren't any crowds. There aren't any seminars. There is no schedule. In stead of riding to an event, parking your bike, and seeing stuff, you ride to the event and then ride the event. MB's a fairly simple formula. Wake, eat, ride, eat, ride, eat, drink, sleep, repeat. |

"Wake, eat, ride, eat, ride, eat, drink, sleep, repeat" That should be the text on the t-shirts. (My attending is starting to look bad, but it's not "5 minutes before Friday" yet.) |

Andy from Appleton will go right past my house on the way there so his mileage will trump mine since he will have been on the road for an hour already by then. Maybe if I go I'll take a wide detour to pad the miles on. |

Pretty sure I read that he plans to somewhere in the archives. Maybe he'll bring some Appleton Buell/H-D frisbees along if they have any left from a few years ago. |

That's funny I got ya by 10. I'm not worried, there's those jackasses from New Hampshire that will be there too. They have at least 100 miles on me. Remember kids, stay off the sidewalk if you see Firebolteric coming.....

I have secured furlough for Thursday night, so I'm good. My wife has a trade show that weekend, so she is going to need help anyway. I think her mom is going to come into town. What time do you guys think you'll roll in? Somehow, 59 days is an eternity. |

There are 3 guys coming from Canada. I think they will win for the longest trip. They came down last year and emailed me that they had such a blast, they wanted to come back and stay for a week. This is going to be the biggest ever. I can't wait. |
