This little guy caught my interest for a track bike: http://www.netnetstore.com/store/product1596.html 200 CC 1 cylinder air cooled dirt bike engine. I figured you could find the true manufacturer of the motor (Yamaha or Honda?) and buy aftermarket parts for it to soup it up a bit! Here's the other option: 150 CC watercooled thumper from the same company! They're nothing special... but for $1500 BRAND NEW they'd be hard to beat! |

You would do much better with an old Ninja 250. They are cheap as dirt used, have TONS of parts available (the motor hasn't changed since 1988), will top 100 mph pretty easily, and will have much better quality than these chinese examples. I've seen some of these in person. If you think buell fasteners rust quickly, these will give you a shock. |

Or even a new Ninja 250 if you want something a little more up-to-date looking. |

I would get a ninja 250, the Lifan is a throw away bike. If you crash it, it's over. |
