Thanks! I'm not sure how far back you mean, but it rides like anything built in the last 20 years or so. It is an absolute blast to ride and gives you a feeling like you are doing something illegal. It is hard to resist riding through fields and over curbs and stuff. Power delivery is solid and predictable. Wheelies roll on in first or second and the suspension is plush, but it has marshmallow brakes. |

The old enduros were basically dirt bikes that had a headlight and tail light that made them street legal, way, way before the uly.I had a old Suzuki enduro back about 1975,it was a blast riding down the streets then just taking off in the dirt. |

This one is definitely of that flavor, but it is tuned for street riding. Husqvarna and KTM make some dual sports that are literally dirt bikes with blinkers. There is no difference between them and their MX race bike equivalents aside from the blinkers. Mine is a few pounds heavier and a few horsepower under its race bike brother. I was looking at getting a Kawi KLR 650, but decided on this one because it is more dirt oriented. I still have the Buell for long distance pavement. This one will be for the dirt roads and trails (and beer runs). I looked at KTMs and Huskys also, but went with the Honda for the reliability and cost and availability of parts. |

I was curious so I checked. 1125 price at Gail's, 11995.00 + freight and prep...12,995.00, not $2000.00 over. Accurate as of 1/17/08 Thanks Chris |

Cris, Well that is close to correct. I was quoted $11995 plus $995 set up , by the way is $595 more than a XB but was told it was higher because they are water-cooled now....ok...then there was the $280 fee and another $130 fee which totaled out to $13400 which is $1405 over list. I found several willing to sell at list with no other costs and one even willing to discount the bike $500 because of the distance I would drive to pick it up..... |

Chris what kind of accessories and other offers are there that come with that price?? Some out of state dealers (not all) are offering $500 in free accessories or motor clothing with full price 11,000 purchase. I must say this is the first pricing I have seen close to 12,000 for the 1125. What is the warranty with this 1125? Just Curious? Paul |

WHoops Sorry! Just called Chris at the Joplin store, $12,605 out the door, one in stock, one demo rider. NO free accessories as stated, but Topeka is offering some accessories as a extra. I think Topeka was #12,300 out the door. Brand new GXXR's 1000 model out the door 10,500. Don't want a Jap bike, but its always intresting to see how market prices fall as the Americans catch up! well, spring is not far away, if the 1125 feels right I may be selling the 03 Heritage!! Yea I know, it's really hard decision, I want my wife to ride but she won't much, then again I like the crusing of the big Harley just as much as the adrenaline of a great Buell. Plus we are moving to a bigger house in a couple months so the extra payment is out, so if I buy a Buell the cruiser has to go! |

Paul, We have actually had some pretty decent weather down here in Oklahoma, despite being winter. There have been quite a few 60 and 70 degree days. I have not been riding, though, because I am still waiting for my dealer down here to get more bikes in. I am 3rd on the list to get an 1125R. |

drake, you still waiting on an 1125R? Gail's has 2 of them and is getting another one next week! They've had the two for a couple months now, which doesn't make sense that you're still waiting on one??? |

Wow, they have 1125's sitting on the floor unsold? They can't get them in fast enough down here in Tulsa. I'll wait for mine from the dealer down here. They are saying a few more weeks. |

I appologize in advance if this is the wrong place to put this... I own a little hole-in-the-wall bar in Lee's Summit and was thinking it would be cool to get a bunch of Buell riders together at my place once the weather gets a little nicer. Are there any clubs or anybody in general that would be intrested? I just sold my 1997 S3 and really miss it. I figure this would be the next best thing to owning one again... |

Well guys, keep an eye out for my old bike because it has already been stolen from the kid that bought it! It was stolen from his apartment in Mission KS. I guess it has a little rash from where he had already dropped the bike on the right side. So in only two days it was dropped and then stolen.

Hi all, just got my 01' Blast back together after the winter time mods. New Vance & Hines exhaust and Super-bike bars. Love the Thumper Forum on here it has so much good info on how to work on it, the HD Shop manual I purchased is lacking. I'm in KCK near KUMed, If I don't see any of you out at a ride, I will be out at Ralph Wayne's again this year. Edward Winkler |

Just a note, anyone interested in helping with the Buell Demo Days at Gail's HD&Buell, be here at 7:30 on May 9th, & 10th. There will be 1125r's, and all other models. A chance to get seat time, and meet other people interested in Buells. Last year was a great success, this year should be too. Chris, 816-966-2222 Gail's |

Any of you guys headed up to Homecoming? I'm departing from Dubuque Thursday morning, and would have room for a few of you if you wanted to hump up here from KC on Wednesday and then head up to the factory on Thursday. Shoot me a PM if interested. Alex |

well dasbuell some things change an example would be is that brag was disbanded by harley about a year or so ago and then some things never change an example of that is that you are still anal retentive sh** stirrer.... For all the other people the 25th Buell homecoming was great again this year Richie and I went again this year we also got in several skydives while in racine...

I am starting to want a Harley now. I've had my eye on a Fat Bob for a while now. Disbanding BRAG was pure marketing genius! |

"Just a note for those interested, we got 20C.O.V.Buells in today, great selection, great prices. Stop by." No thanks you guys don't keep anything for Buells other then a few over priced T shirts and jackets . I called up their one morning back in April and asked for a primary chain tensioner and was told it was in stock, I said I'd be up in a couple hours to pick one up. I drove 104 miles(one way)and asked for one was told it was a non stocked item. For Christ sakes how many Sportsters are there running around? So I called information from your parking lot and they gave me the number for Central in Olathe, some guy named Hollywood got me fixed up and saved my 200 + mile trip. |
