Take a look at this please and maybe some input. I thought at one time someone else on here used this system: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/329586.html?1201066858 Or any other suggestions to polish up a bike that at one time had been sanded down to 600 grit. I've currently got most of it worked down with 1,000 grit. |

gotta go farther than 1000 grit, take it to about 2500, and then hit it with some of this: I use it on every square inch of my bike, safe for all clearcoats, plastics and metals. Yes, even the clear windscreen.

Here is a thread from August that discusses the problem of polishing the plastic, ( actually the Dupont Surlyn), rather comprehensively. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/295158.html?1186362864 Enjoy! Since that post, I have come to rely on The Eastwood Company catalogue for just about any automotive refinishing problem. http://www.eastwoodco.com/index.jsp?cm_mmc=PMD_SE- _-Google-_-Brand_General-_-eastwood_ Be sure to let us know if you discover a new and better path. Here is the Surlyn web site just for reference: http://www2.dupont.com/Surlyn/en_US/ |

I had no idea you could use the nano polish on plastic and the amber wheels. I have always used it on the already shiny/polished parts with excellent success. However I never had the nerve to try it on the wheels. I hope this is Just what I need to put a good coat on my wheels to protect them against brake dust. Thanks for the info. |

Yeah, I know what it says on the outside of the can, but believe me... It works for EVERYTHING. I used my baby as a guinea pig and came out sparkly, as you can see. |
