Is there any interest in having a rally in the southwest? I live in Northern Az and would be willing to do some work if there was any interest. We are a day, or less, from SoCal, Vegas, Salt Lake, Abq. and Phoenix. That's alot of folks. I'm just testing the waters here. Mike |

I came down with mine a couple of years ago to ride with Bartimus and several other Buellers. My problems was that I didn't want to run my 50,000mi.+ bike at the sustained speeds that were happening that rally. I also realized that once I got over 80 that I wasn't enjoying the scenery and I didn't drive 1,500mi. and not check out the surroundings. But there were several times that I wished I had the Blackbird so that I could open it up and reel those guys back in! Right now it looks like we may be heading over to March Badness in the Southeast. |

I'm back in Phoenix this spring and would like to put on another Springfast in late April or early May. We could either do Hwy 191, or Hwy 550 in Colorado... both nice roads... |

This is a fun event and could give a nice base of operation. It would be nice not to be the only Buell in the parade... http://www.yumaprisonrun.com/index.html |

I live in Gilbert Arizona, and would like to help if I am in town on the date. I do a lot of traveling. We are doing a death valley ride from northern cal, southern cal, and arizona April 3-5. Jon from ASBN is helping to coordinate this one. Al Lighton has a BBQ in Buelleton each fall. Southern cal. Laguna Seca is always a big event for us buellers. and of course the Homecoming in July. I have three tubers. S1 S2 and an M2. Keep us updated. REX |

The Colorado Thunder Club is putting on their annual Gateway CO ride in the middle of May. Here is the thread: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 321749.html?1196629310 I rode with these guys and gals during the Taos Rally last year and had a lot of fun. It would be nice to have some Southern riders join in on that one. I would be up for 191 and 550 as well. Sounds like fun. Frank |

I'll be trying my best to make the Gateway ride -- I really wanted to do the Taos run last year, but the wife made me take her to Maui that week for our 25th. At work we started a group for guys and gals that like to ride -- DG-MC (Denver General Motorcycle Club). We're planning a week long run -- to Bryce Canyon or possibly the Ozarks the first week in May. I'll have to be REALLY extra helpful around the house to get 2 kitchen passes in one month. As you can tell I wear the pants in my house -- but she tells we which ones. |
