The X1 piece was just black plastic with a mounting bracket but it did do wonders to clean up the appearance of the bike.   Ratbuell Posted on Thursday, January 24, 2008 - 09:39 pm:        There is a cover that should go on your battery, at least on the top (don't think there was a "box" type cover though). Stock for an S1(W) was black metal, formed to fit the top of the battery without shorting and has a depression in it for the battery strap to sit in. They are no longer available, they supersede to a chrome part. They are available, I just got a new one for my S2. "Just" meaning about three months ago, sorry I don't have the part number handy.
