I hate to do it, but... For Sale: 2004 Buell XB9S Lightning. About 15,600 miles. Pirelli Syncs with 500 miles on the front, 1500 miles on the back. Includes Buell Streetfighter and stock seats; VDSTS software & cable to do your own TPS resets; XB12 airbox lid with K&N filter; stock mirrors. Fork oil changed in the last 6 months. No leaks; doesn't use any oil. Gets great gas mileage. Needs engine and transmission oil changed but that will be done in the next few days. Needs muffler removed and painted. Has a dent on the bottom of the muffler. Asking $3500 Located in Summersville,WV 26651. I'm selling because of death in the family and I now have lots of acres to take care of and not enough time and equipment. More pics at http://mysite.verizon.net/billmullens/Dragon2007.htm from summer 2007 at Deals Gap. Contact me at bmullens@gmail.com Edit 12/30/07 Corrected mileage. So much for going from memory.

The service manual also goes with the bike. The bike has never been down, I installed the frame pucks when I got it and there are no dents under them. Thanks, Bill |

Absolutely wonderful! I've enjoyed every minute of it. Those brakes really did the trick. Thanks for the compliment. Nice to see you around again. Are you picking the new bike up? If so, maybe youd like to drop by for lunch or dinner? |

It's nice to be back. I just couldn't get Buell out of my system. I met Erik Buell at the bike show in Toronto a few weeks ago and that got me really excited about the brand again. When I saw this bike come up for sale, I couldn't pass it up even though picking it up will involve a couple of days and having to deal with all the red tape at the border. My nephew and I will be picking the bike up in the next couple of weeks. I'd love to stop in and visit with you, but time will be very limited and you're a little out of the way. (assuming you're still in Ohio) May have to hook up some other time. Of course you're always welcome if you make your way up to Ontario. |

I can't say I'm as excited to sell it. In fact it gives me a sick feeling thinking about it. It has been an excellent motorcycle, and I've had some great times on it. I am glad the XB will soon have a new, good home. Look forward to seeing you, Buellinator. Bill |

The bike is home and came with the name Tito, which will be kept. We ended up driving through some really terrible snowstorms on the way there and back. Xring was a real gentleman and the bike was exactly as described. Thanks again, Bill it was a pleasure and I will do my best to keep the bike as pristine as you did. |

Orest, it was great meeting you and Adam. Meeting you two reinforces my feeling that Buellers are good people. I hope the bike treats you well. I also went through some bad snow to pick it up in February, 2005. This is what I got to replace the Buell...not as much fun, I'm sure, but it does turn sharp!

I'm sure a bottle of nitrous will increase the fun factor. |

At least the Gravely has an air-cooled V-twin; although it's a Kawasaki. |
