I don't know what I was thinking, I'm looking for a spare for my 03 9R race bike. The 06 won't work. I'd be interested in the 03 if the above poster doesn't take it. Let me know. |

Baby, I am in no way trying to step on your sale. I see you have two buyers and one part. I have a 03 9s swingarm that I started to polish, I have lost interest in the polishing. If the kid wants to finish polishing mine and Rocket wants yours, I will be happy to get one of ya one of mine as well. |

Firstbuell, 2003-2005 Swing Arms had a large brace section (right side), oil lines on the bottom of the oil tank and hard-to get-to mountings for the fender and belt guards. 2006-current Swing Arms have a smaller brace section and therefore a beefier swing arm, 2 of the three oil lines moved to the top of the oil tank and better mountings for the belt guards and fender. Also now includes an inner stone guard. The "long" Swing Arm, from 2006-current is used on the long wheel base XB's and adds 2 inches to the wheel base. It is otherwise the same as the 2006 short Swing Arm. There is also a fourth Swing Arm which is found on the XBRR. This is a chain Swing Arm that is used by many racers. It can be mounted on any XB and provides racers with the ability to make gear changes and quick wheel changes. Hope that helps. BudC (Message edited by BudC on February 03, 2008) |
