Oooohhhh speculation. I still am eagerly awaiting PLAID! I emailed Buell... nothing. Emailed Bleustein, Ziemer and Bergmann ... nothing. They're hiding it, I just know it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they won't talk about new models or products before they're released but I sense that they're covering up PLAID. I think it's a coverup so that the chrome vendors don't get scared! You see, like the rubber-mounted engines going from Buell to the HD line, PLAID could carry over from Buell to the HD line... spelling DISASTER for many HD subcontractors! Yep, that's why they're repressing this information |

I hope the news is congruent with these nuggets of info I have found. "Some new bit of info. Aside from the base model there is also a 1125CR (cafe racer?) model coming. The engine is said to be very responsive to mods and they expect an airbox, EFI Tuner and exhaust system mod to net an easy 165hp on the crank, maybe even more." "there will be a 'new' air cooled model announced at the dealer meeting. It will apparently slot into a growing market sector'" Hopefully this growing market sector The return of the tuber! San Antonio, TX if I'm not mistaken. That's Blake's neck of the woods. We need spy reports! Of course, in Texas, something can be in your neck of the woods and still be ~400 miles away!

If there ever wer some bikes that needed some of their exhaust systems relocated to "underslung," It would be the Ducatis above. Dang. Noise regs sure hurt style! No amount of black paint is making those cans look any smaller! |

FOOD_9936_13458%2C00.html,http://www.foodnetwork.c om/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_13458,00.html Its a tex mex style for deep frying the tortilla for a taco, NOT a stripper with an inflammation. San Antonio is the "official" home of them. |
