The lowly Fort Wayne paper just got around to doing an article on the 1125R and noted that Buell's sales are strongest in Europe. This may be so since I have only visited England (multiple times). I can say that during my travels in Southern England I have not yet seen a Buell of any type. Yet here in Fort Wayne Indiana, I have found my bike's twin and I'm still searching for the third look alike, not to mention the other Buells (tune & XBs) I see at least every other week. Comments??? Buell are not strong in the UK despite what you might read. There's around 30 dealers spread over the UK including the Channel Islands and Eire. It doesn't take a genius to work out the amount of units each dealer is capable of shifting. Some more than others, yes. But still it's a pretty low volume of Buells sold overall. Rocket |

Rocketman, During my visits, I traveled no further North than York. It was a wonderful trip (via speed? train) to a very historic city. I would recommend it. Boiler |

I would assume that the dollar - pound ratio isn't helping matters either. |

Thanks for the recommendation Boiler.
That's the Vale of York in the background. About 35 miles north of my cottage Rocket |

I was surprised to see an XB9R while walking the streets of Vienna this past October so I snapped a picture of it.

I used to lament the lack of Buells around here, now I see them quite regularly. Most of the XBs that I see are ridden by young guys. Since I don't travel to Europe I wouldn't know how they are over there. |

It is told that 4000 tubers have been sold here in Germany. Keep this mind and you can imagine the chances to see one.
