I got to where I could only make it for Saturday if I rode my bike. It is about 220 miles for me and the am temp will be 15F with the highs reaching 29F. Then it would be back in the 19F range in the evening, all with a good chance of snow or freezing rain. Hmmmmm......I got some electrics and cold weather gear. I often ride in the cold, the windshield works well in the rain and wet roads. BUT I AIN'T STUPID!!!! Sorry folks, I won't be making this trip.  | ||

no bike for me this weekend either. not gonna be that brave. i won't be leaving greenville until about 730 saturday morning.(gotta drop off the dog at the pet hotel) probably wont get there until about 11. getting a hotel room up by the north springs station, and just take the train in. so i won't be early. what i was thinking was when i got down there i'd give you a call and see if your ready for lunch and if not head on in cause i don't think there should be any problem about going in and out during the day. at least i hope not. i think i still have your number in my phone. mine is 813-601-1625. see ya down there. | ||

Had every intention of heading South in the morning,with my son, see who I could find,look at some bikes, and be back for my his soccer game tomorrow evening. THEN I gave him a bag of cherries, so he could have a snack while I was debating on supper.THEN I asked him what he wanted to eat. HE wasn't hungry. THEN I found ALL the cherries were gone. THEN we went to a soccer game. THEN he got sick. THEN he left ALL his cherries in the drugstore parking lot. Well, most of them, a few found their way to the floor at home, and in his garbage can. He felt better. I may end up changing my plans, but maybe with the evacuation of his cherries, he'll feel fine in the morning!!Just have to wait and see. If I'm not there, just tell them to go ahead and have the show without me. If I don't go, someone going down 75 is welcome to an adult and a child ticket!! LET IT SNOW!!! | ||
