Ah right, so I got to haul all the baggage too?

I'll have to come over a few days early so we can gee the thing up a bit first.

What do you mean by 'what coverage?' If you spray it enough, it's covered. I rolled up some tape and stuck it through the holes to ensure the bolts still fit through them. Obviously tape the parts that shouldn't get paint.

Check the first page of the thread for more info.

Ah, my bad. Not up on the paint lingo. I think I used the same can to spray a home made belt guard for my S1 as well as the cam cover and still had quite a bit left over.

I had initially tried spraying it with the Buell wrinkle black paint. That stuff SUCKS! I then had to sand it all off.

Cereal.....thanks for gettin' back. If I remember rightly (15-18) yrs. ago I did sporty cylinders with wrinkle paint...it stays soft so it has time to wrinkle...then apply heat. worked well in the oven.......until the kitchen queen got home! Needless to say I wound up with my own oven in the garage.

No problem.

The wrinkle black hardened fine, it just looked terrible. The liner looks closer to stock.
