It went around when it came out but it's really a good read. It's pretty much exactly what the current article posted yesterday had. There is some good information, look past the motorcycles, in there. If you root around a bit you'll find a lot of articles about Buell, person and company, that are only loosely related to motorcycles. They are really redefining some design, testing, analysis and manufacturing procedures and have been written about extensively. The "argutatians" on another thread have been having a knock-down drag out about the Buell frame and in their collective zeal have missed some amazing points. If. . . this amazing process was developed by Alcoa for ablative casting . . . why, pray tell, was it a company whose annual revenues are less than most Wall Street execs who pioneered it? You can see the gapping holes in the thought process. Buell is doing some amazing things . . . watch closely. |

I get frustrated when I read about guys like Buell that have such imagination and technical knowledge! I'm doing good sometimes to get breakfast eaten without wearing most of it....It's just not in my genes I guess. |

Oh yeah, give this thread about 30 minutes and a certain Limey (and his self designed hunk of shit v-8 tractor bike) will be here bashing Erik. |

Bring this conversation to the appropriate thread then, and let's see if either of us can plug the gaping holes instead of you sneaking in the back door of an inappropriate thread after your trolling in the other one. Don't be a baby. Be a man, and face up to your accusations. The argument thread is waiting for your attendance. No, make that "it demands your expertise" wise guy. Rocket |

BLASPHEMER!!!! Erik Buell will not "kick the bucket". He is immortal...for he is the highlander...there can be only one. Good read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. (Message edited by TORQUEMONSTER on January 16, 2008) |

at least with 6 kids, the odds are pretty good that one of them will follow in dad's footsteps. (Message edited by nevrenuf on January 17, 2008) |
