Not much Mel, just doing my thing, and waiting for another chance to go out with you guys. Hey, is HRHD open on Sunday's? I may stop by after we go to the RV convention at VaBeach Convention Center. I want to see if the bike is fact or fiction. I was thinking of holding out for the 1125R when my wife got me mine for my birthday, but couldn't wait that long. Besides those vents/gills, or what ever you want to call them make the bike look to funny. The might as well just put side fairings on there instead and called it a day. It would've looked just like other sport bikes then. Dave |

Dave It is Fact!!!! I stopped by HRHD yesterday after stopping at Redline Ducati checking on the 6K service for the 998. It looks GOOD, but to me it's the fairing that is SO MUCH wider than the ones on the XBRs that it makes the front look heavy. just my opinion and YES I do want to ride one |

naw Dave, I don't think they are open on Sunday's but it's worth a shot. Anyway, if you go and they arn't open then it's on the corner of the front window on the end closest to the other stores. When I was in there they had about 10 XBs and 3 Blasts. More then I've ever seen in there at one time. |

Luckily I found the hours on the website before I headed out, my wife would have killed me to go all the way over there and they were closed. But I am going to try and sneak over after work, but traffic may be too heavy after work for that. But I will make it by next Sunday......Are they doing test rides? |

That bike hasn't been out of the showroom yet. Steward (salesman) said that they won't do Demos until they get at least 3 of them in house. |

Wow, there was some stuff that went on while I was gone! Well, there is more info that came my way this weekend. SSHD tried to get the bolts out and couldn't get it done. Actually cracked the trans case. So, there was a new case that was ordered and I should hear from them today some time. I tell ya, if I had the cash, I'd be trading that thing in right now. |

Just talked with a co-worker that lives in Aylett. It appears that someone is interested in putting in a race track above Central Garage off of 30. Just rumor at this point. Joe |

Hey guys - I have not been around for a while and looks like I have missed a lot of good rides. I probably will not be able to ride for a while due to an injury. I got hit in the neck/head area during a martial arts sparring session and my left leg has been numb since. The doctors are still trying to figure out what the heck is wrong. I hope to have this cleared up by summer. Congrats on the Ducati Mike. Those things are fun. My brother in law has a 749, M750 and an ST2. Van |

does anyone remember where on the bad web I can find the front end/windscreen that looks like a gasmask? I remember them having one light bigger than the other. I can't find these things anywhere. Can anyone help my retardation and point me in the right direction. |

Van Sorry to hear about the leg, hope it clears up soon. Thanks on the congrats for the Duc. I had to take it out on the last (1st annual HRH Polar Bear Run)ride, just so it would not become part of Tank's imagination. Get well Mike |

Tank- Hey bro how high do you rate your abilities on our bikes? If I got the wild hair this summer to swap my tail with an R would you be able to help me so I don't completely screw it up? I was lookin at the tail swaps some guys have done and it looks pretty good. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/249933.html?1170351295 All- anyone have any input? pros vs cons. I'm also looking at maybe polishing the rims on my wheels. I know I'm outta control but hey welcome to my world. LOL Kevin |

It will look RIDICULOUSLY hot especially since your body is already black, I didn't particularly like the black tail with the orange tank. It does seem a bit weird to me that the S components don't directly swap right into the R subframe. I would think that the manufacturing process would be easier (not to mention maintenance down the road) if they were all laid out the same way. But, I'm not a Buell engineer. |

Hey... I went up to the show. I talked to "Lou" from the factory. One of the color choices next year for the 1125 is... wait for it... Red! Well... I might have to take a second look at it when the plastic changes. (lol) I'll be posting my pictures from the show on Webshots. Everyone still got the link or do you need me to post it again? |

Oh Hey Guys... One of my missions while I was at the show was to find an experienced Riders Course or something like it to get more "in-depth" instructions. (I need to be able to keep up with Tank and Mike in the corners) I found two: 1. Corner Speed at VIR. $425.00 for the class. Full leathers. Road Racing License upon completion of course. 2up ride (special bike, you on the back) Professional racer showing you the correct lines. Extra $25.00. (cool...kinda expensive) But I talked to Aaron who also rides a 98 S1W. I felt like that would be a great thing to do. 2. MARRC.org at Summit Point. $275.00 Full or two piece leather. Road Racing license upon completion of the course. $25.00 discount for signing up at least 2-weeks in advance. Additional discount for volunteering to be a corner worker prior to your scheduled class. All of the same things that you get at VIR. (just a little more economical) So... I've reported all of this to start a survey: Who would be interested in going up to Summit Point, volunteering as a corner worker and then going back to take the class? Mel I was at the show from opening till 5:00 on Saturday. I did not see you my brother. I picked up some subtle hints that a new air cooled motor may be on the horizon |

NO DOUBT! I'm done with most things except helpin household-6 nest for the new baby girl. We decided on the name Kerrigan Lynne Watts. Anywho I'm back and I badder than ever. I agree polishing sucks but I want to have that totally me look. I know with Tank and everyone else's input (including H-6) I won't go too overboard. LOL So what's the story on some Feb riding? I'm down! Mel- those classes sound pretty good. I'm not high rollin like you bruisers so I'm down with the el cheapo. LOL ...and ol' KMFW can get down on some corners with good tires. Little bit of news for you all. Summit Point (SPR) is only a little bit further than VIR. And VIR is a LONG drive. I applaud ANYONE that would have the balls (or iron shorts for that matter) to ride what they intend the ride on the track that weekend. As awesome of an idea as it is, I think I'll be saving up for my comp driving license first. I like going fast in four wheel motorcycles. |
