I researched a few helmets and decided that I wanted something light, cool, and unique. I ordered an Airoh TR1 and just got it... Pretty happy all the way around. Here is a link to a review: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/airoh-tr1/ here are some pics of mine:

Shipping was expensive- something about intergalactic rates and Wampa environmental restoration on Hoth- I thought shipping to be somewhat slow as well. (3 weeks). I thought about the upgrade (see pic) but just got the entry level helmet.

Hey Wardan123 - Very cool helmet. I ordered a TR1 in flat black this past Sunday from a dealer in Italy. Anxiously awaiting it's arrival. |

Funny stuff... My first helmet (Zeus) was a modular and I miss the ease of flipping it up to talk to my buds at a stoplight. The only thing I didnt like about it was that the linkage that keeps the shield in place was plastic, not metal. An uppercut from the handlebars would not be well recieved by my chinny-chin-chin. Whats the locking mechanism made of on your helmet, my dark lord? |
