Has anyone tried a 170/60/17 rear tire on the XB ? Michelin offers the Pilot Power at this dimension. I have tried the 180/55/17 Power rear, and I really liked it. So would a 170/60/17 offer better grip at big lean angles ? I guess it would definately offer lighter handling and better corner entry, but what about lean angle potential ? Any experience, thoughts ?? |

I've got a 170/60 on mine. More of a sport/touring Z6 metzeler, but I really like it. They don't look as cool I guess, and I've got a shorty on the front too 120/60. That combo I really like. I came from 180/55 and 120/70 strada, and it wasn't too drastic a change. Does seem to fall into turns quicker. I haven't noticed any greater/lesser lean angles, but I never had the other combo at the track. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/293030.html?1191593175 |
