Since April, there has been something I desperately needed to do. Since June, there was another thing I desperately needed to do. Today I did both. One four times, the other for miles and miles. I made it around that curve(while staying in the road)that I missed in April and did it on the XB9 that has been taunting me since June and today was my first ride on it. I think I like the XB(a lot!!) I still don't like that curve(much) Rotzaruck!!!

Fantastic! I had to do the same thing. There is this road. The state of TN calls it HWY 116. Everyone else calls it "Devil's Elbow". It bit me one day. I NEEDED to run that road. Vern got to do it with me.
He knows why it is spooky! It was cool to have my friends cheering me as I rounded the last corner. Good to exercise those Linda Blairs! |

Thanks folks!! I knew everybody would understand. American, Yeah I wrecked there, it wasn't the curve, it wasn't the bike, the car or even the train; it was all me!! |

Good for you! Slay those demons one at a time. I've done similar for myself. Its a hard ting to fess up that you were the cause of a crash. Learn from it and try again. Glad to hear it. Hold you head up and be proud. |

In my best Butthead impersonation... Huh-huh...you said, "beat off your demons" Huh-huh... Just kidding around. Congrats. I still havent been back to the curve where I made my M2 double as a stumpgrinder. Ill have to sneak off to conquer it, as the wife STILL gives me sh!t about it. It must be a great feeling. Congratulations. |
