Yes Drew.....we LOVE your cool new Bates jacket...it matches the throttle bodies so nicely..!! (Our very own Chris Matty on the left and American Sport Bike AL on the right)

When I see Al looking at something like that . . . I just KNOW some great parts are on the way. One of the folks who understands the itch AND how to scratch it! Cool! Ebear . . . . and chance of getting some high res of those? I'd like to print and do like 6 of them in a framed and matted collage. Court |

OMFG11111 eBear those are gorgeous! I d/l'd all these for reference, but if I send you some $$ could you burn the full size images to disk and send them to me? I WILL beg if I have to. It would be great to have them as 8x10s in the back of my Shop Manual (if it ever arrives). TIA Zack |

Very Cool, Eric!! Eric had his S5 Canon at the show. It takes remarkably excellent closeups (so good that I just bought one just like it). I asked him to get as many shots of the cutaways as he could, not only of the 1125R engine but also the chassis, and the Firebolt as well. Those shots are very helpful for product planning and development, and also for helping answer customer emails about stuff. Eric is so much better at photographing this stuff than I could ever be. Buell really did some excellent cutouts this year. The cut lines and coloration really help grasp the visualization. The chassis cutaways really explain the whole motorcycle in a way that no other medium does. Al |

I am working on a full resolution CD of all these plus many more cutouts of the bike itself.I will pack CD with 1125R shots and Inside Pass/Dealer Training images in native resolution. This CD will be given to AL since he has the Mechanism to distribute rapidly and cheaply. We will be riding together Sunday , will deliver then.Have a great Weekend all!

The use of that "Hy-Vo" style cam chain sure seems like a good idea. The cam chain on my Mille Rotax V-990 looks like a bicycle chain (really). |

I took a few picks at the DC Show. I put them up on my site. Here's the Link for the Site. The there are three sets of pictures on this site so the larger your screen the larger the pictures will be. Also you can right click on the pictures in the Slide show and choose "Zoom In". DC Buell Pics (Message edited by Bearly on January 15, 2008) |
