Tim, Congratulations. Did you get any detailed pics of how the tie downs were attached? By the way, most dealers will let you have the tie downs if you ask politely. Have fun. Greg |

"By the way, most dealers will let you have the tie downs if you ask politely. " I've asked about a dozen times and they are always out of them. I don't know why, but these pics make the bike look better than others I've seen of the 1125R, it's growing on me. Congrats on the new ride. |

Mikej-I'm thinking the same thing, they look much better when someone is sitting on them, plus outdoors the frame/swingarm/wheels really jump out. Would look top notch in full white body work. Nice ride NoRice! |

Tim, where was you Owners handbook and other paper in the crate? My dealer said they didn't find it with mine. So right now I don't have any info on my bike at all. (Is the Cut off switch that left foot pedal?) Many congrats on your new bike. It looks great. Great Color too. Have fun. Thanks |

"My dealer said they didn't find it with mine." I think that warrants a call from your dealer to the factoryBuell Customer Service to get you your handbook and paperwork pronto. (edited to update to the Court edit) (Message edited by mikej on January 11, 2008) |

>>>I think that warrants a call from your dealer to the factory BUELL CUSTOMER SERVICE. That's REALLY odd . . . I'd call ASAP on that one. |

Bearly - In the interim, BMC has the whole Owner's Manual available for download. Sign in as an owner and you'll see the options. The envelope I got says "presenting your Motorcycle Papers" and has spaces to record all pertinent info. Inside is - Owner's Manual Pirelli Tire Registration form HD/Buell Technical Literature list Booklet - MSF Riding Tips Dealer Purchase Agreement, Owner's Copy Itemized Receipt DMV Bill of Sale Shipping info from outside of crate. I also got the shipping stickers that were on the windshield, Both long side crate outside covers with a 5 foot Buell logo for my garage walls and all 3 tie downs with Buell logo. Zack |

"Tim, where was you Owners handbook and other paper in the crate?" look in the third pic. it is stapled to the top right corner inside the crate. you can see it hanging down. as far as mods i have a few ideas. just have to tear it apart and see where it goes from there! |

Due to the location of that stapled-on baggie, I'd wager that someone at the dealership box-cutter removed the side plastic from the crating and cut right through the baggie and wadded up the manual with the panel and tossed it all in the dumpster. At least that is a likely possibility due to how that baggie is hanging there. edit: look at the wadded up pile of plastic packaging in the background of pic#7, that's what I'm talking about. Good eye . . . that, indeedydo, is an 1125R owners manual. That one really had me baffled. Case closed. |

i wish! actually it has only moved about 10 feet under its own power with me on it to load it in the trailer and take it home. it still has one mile on it. i wish i could ride it, but we have been getting snow and ice lately. normally i would ride most anytime, but its a BRAND NEW bike and i cant seem to convince myself it needs to go out and take a salt bath first thing. i have plenty of other things to ride if i want to that bad. so it will just sit in pieces in my garage for awhile as i work on it! |
