Does anyone know off hand how to convert the shift lever to GP pattern? I read somewhere on the Badweb that it was possible. I will have to wait if it requires splitting the cases.
thanks, Eric

It is possible, if you look below the foot peg on the left side there is a threaded boss. Buell is supposed to be making a kit with hardware, and a linkage to convert to GP pattern. You may have to contact Buell Racing, or perhaps an anony can chime in.

I think I would rather a push button up shifter, reversing the pattern would screw me up, I ride four bikes, and remember riding a old sportster with the shift on the right sid,e and that was weird, so I think if legal a electric shift kit that cuts off ignition and shifts the bike up and then downshifts are no problem. just a thought.
