I heard that the 1125's where not going to be released in Japan. I was wondering why this was and if they where ever going to be released here. I really like the bike and was considering buying one. I live in Japan so I just wanted to get the scoop on what was going on. Thanks |

I can't imagine they won't be in Japan soon. Japan plays a very important role in Buell history. |

Zac, the identification section and all those letters correlating to a country is the same for any vehicle. The VIN is going to be the same for just about all of our 1125r's with the exception of the last 6#s. Not to put out hopes that the 1125 will be released in Japan, I'm sure it will be, but that VIN digit doesn't mean anything with that... |

There's one in Okinawa! Can't find one in Pittsburgh, the home town of Erik Buell! |

"And the one at Okinawa HD is not for sale to Americans." Can you imagine the furor if a dealer in our country would not sell a Yamaha to a Japanese citizen? Dave Florida USA |

Why would someone on Okinawa want an 1125? Isn't the max speed like 45 mph on the whole island? That's probably why they won't sell it to an American... Last time I was there was 1981. Z |

I was wondering through the magazine section at the book store the other day and ran across a Buell Magazine. It said that the 1125R was going to be in Japan's Fall 09 line-up. Timmyusmc you should come up to the mainland, the Japanese are much nicer up here. Take it easy fella's. |

yes the top speed is 90 kph but come on. if that mattered then you wouldn't see high horsepower skylines, supras, and rx7s. the okinawa hd will not sell to military or department of defense personnel. we have a dealership on base for that. |
