Sue hasn't even insulted me on it!
I like to start it late Fall and continue until it's time to ride again.
Well,i pulled out the pistons from the cylinders today in preparation of the final assembly which will begin probably Saturday.
C'mon down guys'. I'll have the cylinders/heads in place sometime early Saturday afternoon.Then a toast will be in order.SHEESH,i've now had them cylinder assemblies on/off the bike 8 times between checks/adjustments.The rest of the bike will comparatively be silly simple.I'm REAL good now at this op.
Oh yeah,i spoke with brother Damnut today and he's been ill from Monday night.Whew! I thought he was already a Dad |

Marko..... I had all of mine done at Cape Cod Powdercoating. The owners name is Bob Green and he is a cool guy that stands behind all of his work.

I had mine done through FMS Cycles in Franklin: thesportbikeking.com. Tell them I sent you and maybe I'll get some $$$ off on the airbox they're painting for me!
With no frame of reference I guess it was a decent price: $120 for a Micron can & brackets.

So I make up a logo from all of the input I get from the NEBO LOGO thread and submit it to Blake. I get grief about the logo and suddenly everyone has an opinion on what it should look like. Now what??? F'in NOTHING. I took my time to make these things just to have them bashed and get told that something better can be done and what happens.......... NOTHING.
I would like to have a logo ASAP so that I can get some stickers and shit made. I do not like the idea of having the V-Twin on the logo, that is the "Harley" thing IMO. |

Maybe we should just use the Bandit's firebird hood graphic as our logo. Then the truckers would look out for us and the smokies would crash into each other or flip over if they tried to chase us.

OK - here's my 1.5 cents (I'm not all that artistic so it may not be worth the full .02)...keep it smaller or make a 'second' version and change the lettering to say 'NEBO', none of us use the full name on a regular basis...just when we are questioned. Maybe get 'NEBO' in the top left piece of the pegasus wing to make it a smaller enclosed patch.
Like I said just my 1.5 worth. Other than that I'll be happy with what the artists provide, I'm not a patch critic. |
