Heavy weight can give you some advantages initiating and completing turns, as long as you are sufficiently flexible and athletic. However, weight is generally a liability.

The 1125r in XBRR clothing looks good. Can you make it all black. I'd like to see how the air scoops blend with the rest of the fairing.

Thanks!

Sorry, I can only cut and paste, and I'm not very good at manipulating colors, but if anyone else wants to take a shot - using either that one or their own - I'd also like to see what something like to see it in black - or other colors.}

I obliged a request to 'paint it black'. I added the 'streetfighter' because this thread is titled 'full fairing'. That is to say, some might be looking here but not in the 'streetfighter' thread. The above images represent both ends of the spectrum. I'd like to talk about the differences seeing as I'm a 'Streetfighter' fan.

With the greatest respect, if you consider such polluting the thread, maybe you should take your head out of your rear end and work out that there are others that can see outside of your colon.

Merry Christmas

Good job on the black full fairing.
Looks overweight and bulbous? Who cares as long it isn't overweight (measured by a scale) and bulbous creates better airflow than the "quiet zone."

The naked version is strange...seems there is a front cylinder cut short... is this the short stroke 16,000 RPM version? Post this hideous naked thing on the naked thread - lets see what the naked crowd thinks.

This is a FULL FAIRING thread...

I imagine that with a full fairing, you'd no longer distinguish the cooling air ducting. They would be enclosed by the fairing similarly to the RC51.

That would be OK... stealth air scoops.

Sean,
Since its missing half the front cylinder I guess you could call it a water cooled " Blast 'n a half".

I've wasted enough of my festive holiday trying to entertain you lot, but I did finish it off yesterday seeing as Buell didn't like my other attempts. I just hadn't posted it in this thread since some seem very PC these days about staying on topic. We can't talk of the opposite end of the spectrum on a 'full fairing' thread. Oh no. Such is a BadWeB no go these days

Balls to that then...........

Here's a version with a full, integrated fairing that's a combination of the XBRR and the current bike:

Nice!
Thanks...

Too bad large tails are not appealing in the current sportbike marketplace...the aero is better behind the rider. The XBRR has a big tail for that reason as did the RR750/1000/1200. THe Suzuki TLR1000 was a v-twin w/fat tail for aero and was aesthetically ridiculed.

Maybe Buell can just do what's right and put the racing tail section on the 1125r. Make it the most aero bike on the market now that it has a motor...

Excellent job on the pic...

Something like this? I'm afraid I don't have much artistic talent. Anyone who would like to clean it up can feel free.

Are you saying the frames are blue?

I don't see blue. I see grey. Am I alone in this? Is 'diamond blue' a fancy name for grey?
You're pulling my leg, right?

"I don't see blue. I see grey"

It looks quite blue to me. I've seen it in person too and it's definitely blue.

Try adjusting the contrast on your computers monitor if looks grey, because it should look blue.
