Yes, I too am waiting (in Tulsa, OK). My dealer got the first one last week, the next one is scheduled for January and the third one in March/April. I am on the list for the 3rd one. First two are already sold. I wonder if people who have deposits hanging out there will get precedence for the new ones rolling off the assembly line. It would stink to have to wait until April (or later) to get the bike just because thats when the dealer will get his allotment. |

I guess I'm lucky in some respects here. I was probably one of the first to order(ordered in Sep) and my delivery date isnt until May 23. I don't have all the frustration of deliverydates moving, slow production, parts, dealer service training. By the time I get my bike all the kinks will be worked out of the system. Now next month I will wanting to ride but will have to curb the urge. You see I am in Iraq and I don't get back until May. I feel your pain, but hey my bike is paid for and you are paving the way for many many miles of smooth riding this summer for me |

I just got a call from the local Harley/Buell dealer, Walters Bros in Peoria IL. They just got two 1125r crates off the truck this morning. The guy said that they'd both be on the floor this afternoon. I get the impression that at least one of them is not reserved for anyone, perhaps both. I think I'm going to head over there and take a peak. I've been wanted to see one in person. |

It would stink to have to wait until April (or later) to get the bike just because thats when the dealer will get his allotment. Anybody have information on my question? It is apparent that people have deposits on their new bike, but won't be getting them anytime soon. |

Somewhat along the same lines... How many 1125R's are scheduled to be built in 2008? How many units is the target goal for the year? I thought I read somewhere (on here) that they wanted to sell 10,000 1125R's in the first year. I'm just curious... |

NOpe, I am told that corporate has no way of tracking who has deposits during the build process. As each dealer is independently owned. I think I would make much more sense to send em to where the deposits are than where the weather is first ;) but what do I know |

Dtx that was answered back in one of the thousands of previous threads somewhere by some of the BadWebbers who work for dealers. No connection between deposits and bike shipments as the dealers don't send in that info and distributing sends bikes out (mostly?) according to a dealers past history and dealers first guess orders at the dealer show. If deposits determined who got bikes then I would have been one of the first as I put my deposit down two days after the bike was first announced. I had to explain to my salesman that they would have a new model for sale and what the bike was. To be honest the manager had not made it back from the dealer show yet. Good people who like Buells and Buell people. Not many Buell riders around here tho sadly. But like many others the dealer and I are still waiting on their first 1125 to arrive. |

Money down since Aug. Still Waiting in North Western VA. It was supposed to be in on Friday. I loaded all my gear and my camera in the car and made a nuisance of myself at Grove's HD in Winchester VA. They were open till 8:00pm and no truck. Maybe next year. My VIN is 142. 142? Where has it been? Some are getting there's that are now in the 600's and mine is going to get here in January and it's 142? Now I'm not upset or anything just curious. Illinois HD/Buell dealer made a comment that many units were shipped to Europe first since the Euro is stronger currency these days... Hmmmm Anyway, my VIN is in... it came off the production line just before Christmas. It should be at the dealer by next week... Waiting patiently. |

Thats good that you have your VIN. Looks like you and a few others will be getting theirs shortly. I was just wondering if there was anybody else who has a deposit on one that isn't supposed to come in till March, April or later. |

Actually, no bikes have been shipped to Europe at all yet. The first European bikes won't go out until January. Weird how so much misinformation gets out. But probably because we don't have a full time staff working on sending out bulletins regarding every step of the business. I think that's what it would take to keep up with what people fabricate! |
