recently finished LSL bars on my firebolt...WOW! what a difference. i'm now sitting with a very minor forward bias. they were a little bit of a hassle in some areas (the instructions were a joke and i had to find 2 bolts to hold the ignition switch on as the pre-drilled holes didn't take the original bolts). all in all money very well spent and another good purchase from fellow badwebber. the Zero Gravity Sport tour windshield was supposed to be amber but my wife accidently ordered the clear....a fortuitous mistake. I would NOT have been happy with the amber...the taller profile of the winshield would have dominated the visual lines of the bike if it had color. the clear one hides itself to a large degree. Windblast is reduced (still no electra glide here folks so be realistic) and quieted. just a note...it is more awkward to go in full tuck with the LSL bars as your wrists are now at your shoulders and you lead with your head. but once tucked that ST shield makes it much quieter. bring on the XB peg kit and custom seat!!! |

What are the LSL bars? I was rummaging thru American Sport Bike and could not find them. Where did you get them? I would like a more upright position on the Firebolt.----Rethy |

sorry took so long. i bought them from the classified section on this very site. another badwebber was unloading them. as far as finding them on American sportbike....i know how you feel. i went to that site 10 different times and could only find them about 3 times. there is some way that they get absolutely buried in there and you cannot find them thru the search. when the american sportbike home page comes up follow these steps. 1. click on "store" at the top left corner of the page 2.click on the buell pic on the next page 3. click on the xb9r.xb12r pic on the following page 4. when the next page loads, click on "control systems" at the top 5.scroll down the next page and select page 2 and you'll see them I'd also like to add that i've put more miles on since the original install, and these things are AWESOME! |
