We are seriously doing the IMS show but I'm not spending that kind of money to get to one of the most expensive cities in the country...not when I can drive round trip for $120 for three to four people...

Give us a call during the day so we can meet up.

Sorry I missed Wendells last night...my sister came out from Lawrence and we were all pretty beat anyway.

I hope everybody enjoys this christmas with their families!

$73. round trip is the cheapest Amtrak alternative.I still want to experience rail travel to/from NY.May be a hoot,my wife describes it that way.She also noted first class gets free food/drink

Hi,
How are you guys doing?
Is it still winter up there too?

The roads suck down here, all salty & wet.
I haven't ridden in over a week due to an ice storm that dropped a 2" thick sheet on my driveway.
Been too cold for it to melt yet, so I've been walking to & from the stores by me.

Getting stir crazy too, being stuck in the house with nothing to do but drink beer. Damn, I'm getting fat!

Someone tell me a good joke or something so I can tell it to my dogs.



P.S. I had no Idea that Eric was gay!

Merry Christmas.The first one ever where WE'LL be spending it Quietly at home.

Besides the 996 i'll one day have,i got an excellent book on Lincoln,some very cool selections from the winter L.L.Bean cat.from Mother-in-law.Sue's mother is always VERY generous.

My base gaskets finally arrived YESTERDAY.I may do another mock-up today while lounging

See you all at the party next Saturday.We should also do BBQ at the "Dinosaur BBQ" just a few blocks away

ditto.We guys' who've access to CNC machines even have to REALLY,REALLY,i mean REALLY WANT to do those kind of Custom machining jobs.And even when considering doing it by paying it's very expensive.Sorry,Scott

I have a back up plan that isn't to far from that Scotty - just thought I'd see if some of my machinist friends could hook me up before I do it by hand.
I know you are kidding, but I'm not!
Dremel will be too slow and too hard to keep the cut perpendicular - drill press and jig saw will get it done.....

I agree a back up pulley or even a wasted one to practice on would be nice - I'll watch ebay for a cheap one......but unless the aluminum cuts like steel - I don't see it being all that bad, just time consuming.

I got my last measurement of piston to head today.I went with the thinner (.01") instead of (.016") for maximum Compression.It came within acceptable limits.
