It's nice to see someone else still uses a beam type torque wrench when snugging down a head. Looks like it will be on the road soon, way ta go guys. |

My click type did not go that low... yeah after it gets buttoned up some idling time, then some short distance stuff just to make sure that it is all buttoned up right... What Jim did not show is that just using my hands I took the old front motor mount and pulled it apart...it was badly cracked, almost in 2! |

I'll be riding, but it will be pretty local. Can't stray too far 'cuz of the holiday obligations. . Sure am glad I was able to hit the road last weekend. I might throw on the knobbies and play in the gamelands some. |

I don't know if I'll get a chance to do any real riding this weekend, however, I have at least one potential buyer coming to look at the KTM on Saturday morning. If the KTM sells I will certainly make time to do a little Ulysses shopping. |

Good Luck, Mike. That is one move I won't follow your lead, but sure it will work out well for you. |

Well, since we already had/have the same name, job, t-shirts, and facial hair, I guess it would be a little weird if we had the exact same motorcycle twice in a row. |

I have a ride pass for tomorrow and Sunday morning. I am still kicking around where I want to ride tomorrow, but am thinking about Michael's Sunday morning. Anyone planning on going to Michael's Sunday? |

Carlos, if it isn't raining when I get up Sunday, I am going to ride to Michael's, maybe I will see you there. Also, Merry Christmas to everyone. |

Dagnabit! I would love to go for a ride tomorrow with how great the weather forecast looks, however I will be arriving in East Troy tonight. And the weather forecast for East Troy while I will be home doesn't appear very conducive to riding mo'orcicles - aw heck, it downright sucks! If you want to make yourself feel better look at the 10 day forecast for zip 53120. I won't be back to New Bern until New Years Eve, but I can still check in... Those who do go riding, either today or tomorrow, ENJOY IT! 1313 |

Riding (motorcycle) will have to wait a day. Sunday is my 18th anniversary with Trish. We're spending the whole day together ... starting with a 15 mile trail run in the a.m. and dinner at the Magnolia Inn in the p.m.. |

Finally made it to East Troy! Only about 7 hours after I expected to get here. It is definitely better coming by bike and being in control of the situation. Tomorrow they're calling for some snow... 1313 |

I stopped by Ray Price to do some tire kicking this afternoon (since the stupid KTM *still* hasn't sold), managed to get this dyno chart comparing the 1125R to an '04 XB12R:

The XB really does have excellent low end pull doesn't it. I assume the 1124r is geared lower to make up the difference? |

I think the Dyno at Ray Price is pretty accurate. I have been reading all the banter after the first dyno run posting and it seemed too high to me. I was expecting peak power to be about the same as a GSX-R750 and this dyno run is within 1-rwhp of the last test I have seen of the 750. To date if I would buy a sport bike, the 750 was on the top of my list. Though it is not as straight line fast as the liter bikes, the 750 will out handle all of them on the tight stuff and be more forgiving for rider of my skill level. Now that I have seen my second 1125R at Smithfield on Saturday, I really do like the bike. I do not know if I would ever buy one but I like the bike. The Uly is so far the best Buell for me. |
