I have been seeing a lot of pics with white letter street bike tires. I just saw a pic of a lightning with them and it looked great. I don't THINK they make them but how are they doing it? paint???? |

There's a picture of mine. Harley actually makes tire lettering pens in white, yellow, and orange. Mine has the yellow. A little time consuming to do it, but I think it's worth it. |

I saw and bought them at my local Harley/Buell dealer here in Appleton, WI. When my bike was orange/black/white, I had the orange lettering. And when I changed it over to yellow, I went with the yellow lettering. I think the pens were like $7 a piece. If you have a hard time finding one, just give Andy a call there. He honors the 10% BadWeB discount. Really good guy to work with for ordering parts, or anything Buell related that you might need. |

Tire Pens. Dennis Kirk, Competition Accessories, Parts Unlimited. Any MC shop can get them. Yea, they're cool to look at, but pretty damn boring and tedious to do. I've done 'em twice on my bike - first and last... They're more fun to do on a mom's mini-van though... now THAT gets attention. |
