I used to live in Central Lancaster County in PA. It had slick roads with lots of 90 degree turns.. It also has road apples dirt, amish buggies(rolling coffins), Frickin tourist trafic out the ying yang. I used to take rides down to the University of delaware oh how I miss that Many a good party was had. Maryland roads wern't to far away I kind of liked it there. I moved back to New Jersey 2 years ago and all I have is trafic straight roads, I can't make a shore run because I'm married now! North west NJ has some decent roads and scenery along with North west and Central PA. I don't see myself leaving unless a better job comes along. I guess untill then I'll have to get my thrills on the on/off ramps.

I'll stick with So Cal. Yeah we have fruits and nuts but being a native I know that they all came from elsewhere (mostly East Coast I suspect). I can ride 365 and in less than an hour can cruise the coast (like the Beach Boys said "California Girls...) or hit the local mountains for some of the best twisties. Those of you joing us for the Cali BRAG Adventure will see what I mean (Angeles Crest and the stuff Jerry from Oceanside puts together will make you a believer). When I was in High School a right of passage as a senior was to Surf in the morning, dirt bike ride the desert at noon and be snow sking before dark. Where the hell else can you do that! Yeah the daily traffic sucks (must be some reason everyone keeps moving here) and you occasionally have to dodge bullets, but with great year round riding weather and a ton of the motorcycle industry right here, I think I'll stay.

although my one brother lived out around lodi for a number of years and wasn't that impressed with it, and the only part of ca. i got to see was the desert in needles when i left vegas, i would still like to see the northern part of ca. the next time i have a chance to go to sturgis. in general, everything i saw out west was a treat along with the great people i incountered. i'm still waiting for blake to post his pics from the texas hill country.

I'm in the Bailey, Colorado area. About an hour from Denver at 8800ft. Can't find much to fault about riding here. There are 15+ paved road, Buell tailored, canyons leading from the Rockies to the plains. I can go east to the canyons, west to mountains and more mountains, and north/south to more of the same. The semi-arid climate delivers 300+ days of sunshine. I ride year round... yes, it snows, but the sun comes out and it melts. Cooler temps minimize bugs, and I can wear protection without melting.
