I want to buy a 2000 M2 from a man but I have to drive a distance to get there, is there a way to tell if it is a low by the serial number or some other way than measuring the suspension? |

You can eyeball differences if they're side by side, but the VIN is definitive. The low model can be identified from the fourth and fifth letters in the VIN: KS = M2 LS = M2L |

The first year of the M2L was 2001 I believe. Ditto what Zen said, VIN is the sure way. Suspension and seat is lower. |

Do you want a Low model or a standard-height model? |
