We got one in this week. The looks are much what one would expect from the pictures. The side profile is not at all flattering. It has the front fairing to thank for that. Otherwise I really like it. The riding position is spot on, as can be expected. I love the instrumentation. My only real gripes are how the clutch cover gets in the way of the rear brake, and the hideous appendage on the rear. I'm sure there will be remedies for both. The engine has a lot of mechanical clatter at idle. Nothing a slip-on can't cover up. A few had gripes about the frame/wheel color I'm sure it's going to be a great ride, but if I ever buy a liquid cooled bike it's going to be a single.

Thanks for the write up. I agree with everything you said except I think the tail piece is good, and important to help balance the design of the front. |

The front fairing is not offensive to me...the shape is ok...its the air scoops. I would prefer the front fairing and airscoops were surrounded by a full fairing. The |

+1 on the brake pedal being too close to the cover. Maybe my feet are too big. |

I had the same opinion on the brake pedal for the first few miles, but now I actually find it to be real nice, in the natural riding position for my size 11 boot, my toe does not interfere with the pedal, just turn my toe in slightly and my big toe, so to speak, just perfectly catches the end of the pedal. |
