Pissssss Drove down to Sun and find out I can't get it till Tuesday. Yesterday when I left I thought everything was in order and pickup was today. Started it though and it sounds awesome. Service guy said they have to test ride and i told him me not being the first rider was a deal breaker, so I rode it 10 feet in the shop and called it good. It's still got the heart of the "Lump" in it, you can't find neutral while it's running and stopped, not even by hand. They will deliver it to my door Tuesday afternoon after work. Life is a series of compromises. Paperwork's all done, four more days. Eff it I'm gettin drunk. Z |

I just picked mine up this morning from F&S in Dayton. They have another one setting on the show room floor that isn't sold yet..........if anyone is interested. It was snowing pretty bad about half-way there and all the way home. Cars and trucks were spinning off the road (I-70) everywhere. I made it home safe and have the new addition in the garage thawing out. |

I saw your bike yesterday Donutclub! They walked me back special. Looks nice. I didn't touch it... but I was tempted. They must have wheeled it out to the showroom floor after I left. They told me those first two were sold, as were the next 3 coming in, and that they had one left for the allocation for the year that is still available. |

I sealed the deal this morning at Danbury HD/Buell. I sat on my bike (it arrived yesterday) while Dan tried to explain all the electronic doodads on the panel to me (sometimes I long for the idiot simple although unreliable Joe Lucas/Prince of Darkness stuff on my old Triumphs!). I think the staff at Danbury is still trying to figure out why an old fart like me (turned 60 in April) bought one of these things. Oh well! |

I didn't have a problem finding neutral, but now with 65 miles on her, it does seem even easier. |

I've now officially joined the 1125r owners club (#352). I went to Uke's today in a snow storm, and I completed the deal. They were nice enough to provide me dry, indoor storage for the bike until I'm ready and able to get it home. Despite the uncooperative weather, I'm still happy to have moved forward on the deal. All I have to do now is wait for a break in the weather to take my first ride. (Message edited by gfc55 on December 15, 2007) |

Thursday and Friday look good Donut. Looks like a bunch of us may finally get our bikes this week and show why we're Badwebbers. Bad weather means needing 4WD. Z |

Got off the plane from Iraq, my wife and kids picked me up. When I got home the bike was sitting in the back yard. It was the second best thing that could have happened. My family being the first and the 'Surprise' your bike is here was the second. Nothing like blowing off 15 months of steam by riding a bike I have been reading on nearly everyday. It was everything I wanted in a motorcycle. |

WAHHOOOOO!!!! # 231 is now in my driveway. Rode it home this A.M. Have to wait another week to get the owners manual so I guess I'll have to figure out all the electrical doodads on my own. |

Blazin - Go to Buell.com and register/login the "owners" area. You can download the owner's manual. Wish I could d/l a service manual too. Put Loretta in the garage with EXACTLY 500 miles. Had to drive around the block 8 times ... Z |

8 times around the block gets you 500 miles? Its only about three miles here. |

Hey Zac. How is Sun to buy from? I bought my Uly from High Country. Sun never seems to have many Buells. Congrads on the new ride! |

Joking about "around the block", did go one exit past home and doubled back to get 500. Mighty cold here, I don't think a single one of those miles was over 50˚. Summer will be sweet. Loving this bike. Z Troy - WELCOME HOME! Happy Christmas. Sun's good, kinda pricey, but they got me the first 1125R, on the road, in Colorado. My way and delivered it to my door. High Country gets most of my business tho. I've known Reed a while and preferred to buy thru him so I went to Sun. I will most likely have my 1st and second service done at High Country tho. Jammer(Dave) is getting some nice Buell stuff going there. The more the inventory turns, the better it will get. Capitalism. (Message edited by zac4mac on December 25, 2007) |

This was as close to a blushing modicon I could find. We try here. We are human too. When that results in a screw up, we fess up and try to make it right. ~jammer |

just got mine today, which I was not expecting, sat I was told that it was recalled back to the factory and then called monday to get oil filters, which by the way cost 24 dollars, and I was told my salesman was on vacation and would not be back till after new years, and today he called to tell me they were delivering it today, have not ridden it yet roads are not good, but I found this weird being told one thing than it showing up, but I am happy now and just got to wait for clean roads to break it in.
