what U4euh said. i think a 10-amp inline fuse is standard from Widder and Gerbing, possibly maybe "only" a 7.5? hey, at least the fire will keep you warm! |

I'm riding a loop tomorrow. Headed down to Wilmington via back roads to have lunch with some folks at Hells Kitchen, then go for a ride with them. Afterwards, I'll head over towards Lumberton to meet some folks for dinner at 5:30 at the Texas Steakhouse. Then, I'll take the back roads home. Anybody wanna ride? |

Ulyssesman - you're not far from us! Let us know when you get in town. I'm sure M2nc (Grifton) and Webethumpin (Kinston) would be up for a ride. Check out the Jacksonville thread up top. When the weather is good they usually ride out on the weekends to Old Maple Hill and hit Hollands Fish Camp for lunch. Welcome to C3 and come home safe! |

This is it. BadWeB is the big umbrella with lots of sub sections. Did you find us through Buell.com? If so, it dumped you right into Storm Fronts which is local riding groups and upcoming events. Our daily chatter takes place here on the main page. There are topics up top and folders for Info, Pictures and Adventures. If you don't see something, ask. We'll try and answer it for you. Carolina Corner Carvers (C3) covers all of NC and we have honorary "members" in TN, VA and SC. You will find lots of Uly topics under the Big Bad and Dirty Section. Hope this helps explain a little bit of BadWeB. Best bet is to just look around and explore all sections. |

People are on and off all day and night. BadWeB is on eastern time. As for the Uly, we love it. I'm guessing your Dad ran into M2nc or Webethumpin. I ride with M2nc when I can. Our 12 year old daughter rides with him more and we both love the Uly. As for comfort, it's got it going on. I did my first long distance trip last year to the OBX. My long trip holds nothing to Carlos (M2nc) and others who have ridden hundreds of miles in a day. M2nc and Jlnance have 06 Ulys and Webethumpin and Noseed have 07 Ulys. Check out Jlnance, one of our C3er's, here on his Uly. From Raleigh to Seattle WA and the southern route home. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/6817/312289.html?1194140873 C3 has a great group of people. Most are married with mortgages and some have pre-teen children that ride as well. Here is a picture of the last time I went to Jacksonville. Quiet a showing for an very impromptu "lets ride", 7 Buells, 9 Buellers.

say do you get to ride the dragon very much? i've ridden it a few times over the years. my partner Denise and i recently moved to the East Coast from Cali (today is our one-year anniversary in Virginia), which should make getting down there a little easier. we rode it back in October, but the place was crawling with Tennessee Highway Patrol. takes a lot of the fun out of it, but it's still a beautiful piece of pavement, even doing the speed limit. UlyMan, thx for your service +1......got so excited about another Bueller close to us I totally forgot my manners! hey , is this pc on mhr? I'm not sure what the little store is/was called, but yes, it's on/at Old Maple Hill Road. I'm sure Carlos and Mark will gladly ride with you while you put some break-in miles on your Uly. Your wife may not let you come back out and play for a while on your next leave!

Hello Ulyman - Welcome and congrats on the new bike. +2 on thanks for your service. We have had several service men here at C3. Webe which is the one in red on the right in the picture above spent a year in Iraq. Southern Marine now moved to the mid-west was also in Iraq a year and designed our C-3 logo while there. So you are in good company. As for the bike - it is one of the funnest motorcycles out there. As far as for comfort, that it has in spades. It is great for both rider and passenger. A combination of best seat in class, long compliant suspenders and comfortable riding position make for one of the most comfortable standard motorcycles out there. I have ridden mine from Ohio to North Carolina for 720 miles in one day. Other than getting sleepy, I could have kept going. Is it fast? Well that depends on your past riding experience. Its faster than any HD with the exception of the V-Rods. Against a V-Rod a Uly is still toe to toe as long as you are going straight. Add a turn and the Uly waves the V-Rod goodbye. If you are coming off I-4 Sport Bike, Ulys do not have the top end rush. They make stump pulling low end torque where 600cc sport bikes are dead. For the street they are perfect because shifting is optional. Ulys will rival those 600cc Sport bikes in the handling department. As for the Dragon, yeah I've ridden on it a few times and off it once. That is where I found out the Uly is also one of the toughest motorcycles out there. Let us know when you are in town and ready to ride. |

Mike - Webe and I are planning on riding to the dinner as well. We do not have any plans yet on which route we are going to take, so let me know where you plan to be and maybe we can meet up somewhere along the way. Maybe I can talk Webe into OMHR and then south to meet up with you somewhere. If not we will see you in Lumberton. (Message edited by M2nc on December 15, 2007) |

Carlos, you 'n me need to go riding sometime, just the two of us... Man, I would love that. You have sold me on the ability of an FLH. Hey,,,,just the three of us,,,I can get a kitchen pass for this event G2, Save that pass this time for warmer weather. We already did the cold tire test. Last time I was on the dragon, the "fast guys" were on 2 Road Kings and a Victory. The S2, X1, and XB9SX were bringing up the rear. The last time I showed a pair of HDs what the Uly could do was on the BRP. It did not last very long but Nance enjoyed the show. (Message edited by M2nc on December 15, 2007) |
